Hi all,

I've just recently picked up the Mass Effect Trilogy for my PC, having had the series on my Xbox. I was pretty excited to be going back to ME1, partly because it is my favourite and I haven't played it in a few years, but also I was looking forward to the game looking a bit better on the PC. Now don't get me wrong, it does look quite a bit better, but there seems to be a lot of visual and audio glitches which I'm sure I never encountered in the Xbox version (Correct me if I'm wrong though since it has been a while). I appreciate that some glitches may be caused by newer hardware that the game wasn't designed for, and I wouldn't generally be too bothered if an old game was a bit glitchy, but the fact that the game has just been remarketed as part of the Mass Effect Trilogy pack you would expect it to be updated surely!

Ah well rant over, back to the Citadel!

Yeah I've got 1.02 thanks, I think Origin automatically installed it. Is it unusual that I am experiencing graphics flickering, and things like speech getting cut off, and occasional stutters in the audio? I mean its not so bad that it has stopped me playing, I just thought they might have updated it to smooth things out for people playing the game with current hardware.

I notice this happens when you have v-sync enabled. I find the glitches less annoying than the screen tearing if it's off but you may want to experiment to find what works best for you.

I have all three games. Would there be a difference if I played through all three in order versus playing through the Trilogy?
