just a personnal preference this
when doing the DLC can it be made so you dont need to commit to completing it once you start
I'll take Mass Effect 3 as an example
I prefered the way Leviathan was done to really the way any other DLC thats been done, just simply because i could go do abit leave it an go do something else if i wanted an come back later an pick of where i left it very simple
Im put of replaying alot of DLC simply because once you start there aint no stoping, Legacy sort of nearly did it with the statue before you enter the ruins proper but tbh it couldve done with a couple more of them statues so i could complete abit progress an then if i wanted go back out an do something else
just a personnal thing as i said doubt many others feel the same lol

I suppose it's a question of how the story goes for me. If the DLC functions like Kasumi's mission, then it's a party so it makes no sense you can stop it before it's done.
Other missins, like exploring the Deep Roads or whatever DO make sense.
