DS was dropped and now whenever I try to start it,power light is on but there is nothing on the screen,does somebody knows what happened and how to fix it?

Sounds like the screen may be broke. Have you checked online to see what may be wrong with it?

Do you mean the screen is black, or not activating at all?
If the latter, then it's probably broken. If the former, try holding the "Start" button. It will cause a system reset which can solve a system freeze up.

Yeah like Rolling On The Floor Laughing said, you should upgrade. That way you can enjoy 3DS, DS and some DSi games

If the screen is broke Nintendo does have a support centre that can fix it, however after factoring in labour and repair costs it might just be better to get a 3DS.
