Well if not in this, then i hope maybe in DA2. I would like to add i fully understand i didnt HAVE to die, it was a choice. But it seemed like if i did the ritual or let alistar die it woud not flow with my character. And i dont have a problem with my character stayinging dead but an a commanding warden from another country? idk it does not sound that appeling to me. Also i am rather pissed about the being able to keep your armor and weapons. See my character had awsome stuff, and some of his best stuff came from DLC, so because i chose my character to die all that stuff i gathered for this character was for nothing? that sucks, maybe if they let my orlesian loot his dead body and get his stuff i wouldnt feel that mad.

Doesn't mean your character raises from the dead. Looks to me more like waking up after being unconscious. Reminds me of Baldur's Gate 2 beginning.

Or it's like other people mentioned, someone else than the PC.

You want? Do you expect to play the same character even in DA2? Don't hold your breath.

The Architect (the intelligent
darkspawn) is from Dragon Age: the Calling, which happens a couple
decade before the main game and also came out being DA:O shipped.
Dragon Age: Journeys also had a talking darkspawn emissary.

Do you know which one of them is he on the trailer, the mage-looking guy or the one with the facepaint?

Darkspawn and the Fade ? Connection? If you recall the first darkspawn (according to the chantry?) were the mages that actually found the black city in the fade well thats like a sermony type religious thing but keep that in mind... The expansion could be called awakening for many reasons so try not to look that much into it. The only thing i hope the expansion sheds light on is Morrigan and the baby (if you chose to do the dark ritual) because that right there just bugs me so many questions!
