Hey there,

just a quick question: I do realize both Vakarian and Ash start engaging enemies closing in from a great distance noticeably sooner when having their SR equipped. Does the AI also behave differently when given, say, a long range scoped rifle like the Mantis, opposed to a short range scoped rifle like the Kishok Harpoon Launcher?

I do not think I have ever seen a squadmate behavior change depending on the weapon used. From what I have seen, they will shoot the enemy from any distance, regardless of the gun used. Equip Tali or James with the Reegar to see what I mean.

That being said, I am usually in front of my squadmates, so I rarely see their behavior; it may be that do behave differently with sniper rifles as opposed to assault rifles.
