An effect in their passives (more likely their fitness) that boosts the speed of certain tech things:

- all objectives using the omni-tool (hack, Escort, 4 things)
- all Tech Power recharge speeds
- all weapons with a charging mechanic charge quicker
- anything else?

Just thoughts... bored... maybe for ME4, eh?

That should apply for all Engineers.

Yea, maybe not Quarian/Salarian specific, but Engineer specific? Makes sense.

A thread was brought up a few months ago where it mentioned that classes in a squad give squad bonuses. Like a Soldier can give 10% more weapons damage and and an engineer gives bonuses to tech powers and shortens times for certain objectives. I like that idea and it would promote more class diversity. How about Volus gives you a 10% credit increase. Hmmmm, maybe not. I see too many of those guys filling up lobbies if that where implemented.

I think it should apply for all Quarians, Salarians, AND Engineers.

As an Engineer-Fanboy I always found the Lack of "true Engineer" Skills disorientating in Mass Effect.
Well, at Least not in ME:1, where you had Your Hacking and Electronics.

My best Example I can think of right now is the Situation on Omega in ME:3 Omega, where You are about to reroute the Power for the Force Barriers and got to par/ren-react instead of showing what an Engineer can do.
But nooo, the Adept, also the SOLDIER, even the Vanguard, who never got real Training in Electronics and Techs can do the same Stuff as You can do, in the same Time.
It's plain odd. ^^

BTT: Squad Buffs would be awesome to create even more effective Teams.
But well, we won't see that anymore in ME:3.

Even though Mass Effect 3 is "done", I agree. There should be squad bonuses per class/race, kind of like what the Juggernaut has if specced that way. Mass Effect 4? Make it happen.

OP pls

Incinerate on all teh things is the way to go here.

The real tech powers belong to Soldiers, Sentinels and Infiltrators. Flamer and Snap Freeze. And even defensive tools based on tech like Hex Shield or the Paladin's Omni-Shield make a lot more sense on other classes. Also, i still can't believe they put Sabotage on the Saboteur. That's totally not making any sense at all. They should've given him Decoy instead.

I'm surprised quarians and salarians didnt just have more powerful tech powers. would've been nice for the races that are the most technologically adept to have that bonus.

This was my thinking. Just like Asaris with Biotics. Why are Humans' biotic powers the exact same?

To my knowledge, Asari don't use biotic-enhancing implants like Humans do.  Maybe that levels the playing field.

I like the idea of race-specifc benefits.

Like Asari boosting biotic powers since they're naturally biotics. And Quarians boosting tech since they're...techy.

Well, passive bonuses are different for different races and classes; e.g. turians have a gift for weapon stability. I suppose it would be nice to see tangible gameplay perks unique to classes though that extended to objectives.

Screw a racial bonus. I would rather have a new Salarian character or two...
