I appreciate Bioware thread

Given the latest circumstances, mostly the RTO delay. We may find ourselves' upset at Bioware, while funneling too much on the unpleasant. We can forget the beneficial. Their games have the moral choice something we are all thrilled about.

It blow's Fable, 1 and 2 out of the water as all in depth storyline. Very good voice actors, impressing graphics and bewildering replay value. This thread is for one purpose, for anything you appreciate about Bioware, from their games, to staff. Post it here.

Let them know for all their hard work we value and we will continue to be loyal fans not just now but as long as the company keeps going. This forms' need some brightness, some postive. Look at all the games they are publishing

Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age, Future star wars mmo

Reshaping the future of games not just for this generation but many generations to come.

I'm not upset. I play LOTRO and know how it goes. Stuff happens and I respect the programmers that have to go through all the code to figure out what's wrong. I'm just waiting patiently like most others are. In fact I think I'm going to be playing Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 pretty soon. I never played them and I'm going to have to dig up KOTOR as well. I didn't have a nice pc til recently so I got left out of those.

Not wanting to post bash....I do appreciate Bioware, as do many millions of others, think they know from the coin in their pockets hehe :)

But they do need to focus more on customer service, but I guess thats like a lot of companies. Appreciate: YES, little worried at twhere the company is heading: YES, little annoyed too: YES also :)

Great sentiment, but you'll find that if a thread is not full of vile or a hot topic, it gets ignored and soon lost.

The Devs know that most of us love this game, problems and all. And most players understand that you take the good with the bad....especially when the good so easily outweighs the bad.

Interesting that everytime there are a bunch of whining/ranting/venting threads, one appreciation thread just pops up.

It is no big feat to have a deeper/better story than the Fables, though I enjoyed them both.

This seems to be kind of off-topic, or can easily go off-topic.

Keeping it DA related: It is a fun game, confused on some people's complaints and the time played = cost argument (which is illogical, cost is the company's time/investment, not the player's).

Oh, and I'll throw in a request for a JE prequel.

Stop making these threads. The Dev's aren't going to run and cry because some people want to bash them, they'll ignore them or ban them depending on the severity of the post, or if it's constructive criticism they'll take it into account. Threads like this are utterly pointless.

Most of the complaining/venting threads are pointless. Not all, but most. Why not have this thread in the mix as well?

Sums it up nicely. I couldn't care less about DLC, as I haven't seen one that I'd really wanted to have, nor do I want to support that business model. If anything, it's worrying that BioWare goes that way at all. But like many things, it's currently supposed to be the next big idea, so they couldn't help it if they wanted to. I hope the concept as a whole will disappear again, and we'll get back to full add-ons on physical storage devices, but that's just me.

What I was getting at is that ME 1 had an annoying bug that never got fixed. It is still pretty stable and far from being as buggy as many / most other games, but still. If you compare that ME support with the support BioWare provided for BG 2 and NWN...

As long as the the games remain pretty bug free, and as long as the actual content remains of such high quality, all these things people complain about right now in such a ridiculous manner don't matter much. But I'm no fanboy, and neither are most player-customers. Should the quality ever fall below my standards (that are as high as they are because I learned from BioWare how good games can be), they've lost my money just like all other companies.

Thank you and be rest assured that EA/BW appreciates your money more than they appreciate you.

I'm not upset about the RtO thing either. I never bought it, so I have nothing to be upset over. These delays happen all the time. Plenty of other things to do while I wait for it to come out.

Bioware made Dragon Age and it's become possibly my favorite game I've ever played. I'm more than happy to post in this thread and say, yes, I appreciate Bioware. Can't wait for RTO!

Umm.... no duh? Capitalism ftw! Of course they appreciate the money more, it's a for profit buisness, not a charity.

Individually, the people of BW probably appreciate their fans, unless they have too much of a headache working that they don't care for the moment. As a business, your money makes a bigger impact than your opinion.
