I remember when Annihilation Field was first introduced and no-one I played with at the time knew how to use it yet. So I spent one entire match barreling into spawns of mooks with it active, then resetting it to try to kill with it.

Remember those days when you're coming up to the final 10 secs or less on a perfect Gold Extraction, everyone's dug in and nothings breaking through.... only for the Vanguard to charge an enemy across the map.

I remember decapitating enemies with my new shiny vorcha sentinel. My friends and I would experiment to see which enemies we could actually behead. We would leave the last banshee alive with one bar of armor to see if it could be done. Then we would all go examine the corpse and go, "Aaah! OMG headless banshee!"

I remember the days when the Avenger really was deadly on full-auto.
I remember the demo days where I had no self-insert (as a contrary to all those "omg im shepurd lol" guys)
I remember when biotic explosions were overpowered.
And when Infiltrators were the same.
I remember when the Kishock could headshot bosses for full damage. And when anything could to a Prime.
When weekend challenges had victory packs - and the camaraderie surrounding them.
I remember when Sabotage was overpowered versus synthetics and too weak against organics, rather than the balanced variant it is today.
Back before people no longer had good reasons to hate certain plot elements in the game.

I used to hate it so hard that I cursed anytime I got an upgrade for it. I was a fool and should've been eaten.

This thread reminds me of an old video I was watching from Xcal, where he raves constantly about how awesome the Carnifex is, and how Powers > Weapons by a long shot.

Those were the days.

I remember laughing and watching people try to take down Guardians.  A lot of people couldn't figure out how to beat them and didn't know you could mail slot them.  Krogans trying to repeatedly heavy melee them, Engineers relying on Combat Drones to get them to turn around, Infiltrators trying to sneak behind them....  So much fun to watch.  If I was playing a Drell, I felt like I was freaking UNICEF whenever I Pulled a Guardian's shield away.

I was a Human Sentinel junkie when the game first started.  I didn't have any AP Ammo, so I would just throw and pop the Guardian's head with my Paladin while he was staggered.  I never used to bother with the mail slot.  And Warp-Throw used to own everything.

I remember those days in geth white gold with two demolishers, racing to get into that one cover. I think I was the only one who didn't mind to be there killing all the stuff (granted that it was in those 30 min I had free before going to college so I just wanted to relax and earn me some creds)

Ahhh, that may have been the best gaming moment ever for me. When I first got the Krosent and ran around headbutting all the things. Glorious!

I was never much for the headbutts.  The pimp slap always sent them flying a lot further.  Running around Bronze meleeing everything with my Krogan Sentinel is still probably the most fun I have ever had playing this game.
