I have found multiple times that people just zone out when joining - if i check and don't see gear - I ask them if they forgot - they usually put on something nice and appropriate for the match.
I'm not so much in agreement on 2,3,4 - I have one friend that rarely plays - has barely anything and he can do well in gold matches.
As for 4 - I think the context of the match is important. I sometimes slum in Silver PUG's and don't even bother to look who has what - soon as I join I ready up because I'm capable of carrying the match.
Just sayin....

Sounds unfair, but if someone is using a very low-level Common or Uncommon weapon (Phalanx III? What?) in the lobby, I start to get nervous.
Weirdly I was just in a few game with a TSent using a Phaeston III ... he was actually decent, generally placing second on the scoreboard (I was cheating, using a KroGard/Reegar - almost have Resurgence Mastery again). Sometimes I'm just pleasantly surprised like that.

I don`t believe players being bad in Bronze/Silver. There can only be a bad team all together.
I am strictly talking about Gold/Plat. Then the individual can be a bad player by slowing down the team and ruining others` fun.

Not checking behind them / lack of situational awareness
Not using powers efficiently (ie. human engineer not making TB/FE)

I said those factor all together.
No point look at them individually.

I suppose the only thing that will make me think a player is not good is them needing consistent rescuing.

Everybody can tell who`s good and who`s bad by the end of wave 4 or 5 in Gold/Plat games.

All together?
So you're saying someone below 100 N7 has Harrier 10?
Or above 100 has PPR 10?

He's saying that those all together tell a very specific story. Imagine a brand new player who doesn't really know how the game works hoping to get into Gold or Plat games, not really understanding why that's a really bad idea. Often, they'll think their first rare or their first UR is their Gold+ meal ticket, so they'll hop into the game with the best thing they have. Not having gear is a huge hint that said player is brand new and doing exactly this.
