1. No gear
2. < 100 N7 / Challenge points
3. Below lvl V common / Uncommon weapon. Lvl I/II Rare / UR weapon
4. Press ready button very first

Together, Those are pretty much free kick signs.

Not sure if trolling, or just unaware of the fact that getting URs is impossible...

I said those factor all together.
No point look at them individually.

All together?

So you're saying someone below 100 N7 has Harrier 10?
Or above 100 has PPR 10?

He's saying that those all together tell a very specific story.  Imagine a brand new player who doesn't really know how the game works hoping to get into Gold or Plat games, not really understanding why that's a really bad idea.  Often, they'll think their first rare or their first UR is their Gold+ meal ticket, so they'll hop into the game with the best thing they have.  Not having gear is a huge hint that said player is brand new and doing exactly this.

Now it makes more sense, he didn't clarify the player was new.

Standing in an increasingly obvious killzone and refusing to leave.

Relying on Shockwave for kills on Platinum.

Standing near a Juggernaut that's tanking something like five different enemies and still getting killed by the few things that get through.

Using a low level Disciple on Platinum.

Doing all of the above at the same time

He didn't need to. He was describing how a combination of factors signaled that the player was new.

Bleeding out with the AIU isn't indicative of anything. When I bleed out with my AIU, it isn't because I'm bad. More often than not it's because I hit the button to use a Matrix but go down anyway due to lag.

Usually the first and most obvious sign is instantly readying up upon joining a lobby with no gear and/or equipment. (Gold/Plat.)

There's no way to tell for sure a player is new; the purpose of his post was to point out a set of factors signaling there's like...a 99.9% chance said player is brand new and has no idea how to play Gold +.

I'm really quite bad at this game, so if some guy named "Pyroninja43" is in your game, you should kick him.

-Using any infiltrator, drell or krogan
-Using reegar, harrier, javelin, claymore, acolyte, talon, hurricane, typhoon

Someone with skill: can solo plat (no cheats or box of shame) with a lvl 1 volus using only heavy melee to get points, NO gear or ANY consumables.

Don't use anything good?
Seems like a plan.

Didn't think it needed to be spelled out. All those 4 factors are easy tells that the player in question is very new:

1) No gear - hasn't obtained anything yet since he/she just started playing and hasn't built up a decent manifest.

2) <100 N7/Challenge points - hasn't obtained new class choices & thus hasn't promoted as a sign of kit experimentation; Hasn't killed enough/shot enough ammo/used powers frequently enough to have actually played enough

3) Below Level V common/uncommon & Level I or II rare/UR weapons - hasn't played enough to get enough credits to buy many PSP/Arsenal/Reserves packs

4) Press 'ready' button first - combined w/ the above tells me that the player is probably very new & unfamiliar w/ the game & is only going to hinder or outright hurt the team's efficacy.

Have you tried equipping the sarcasm scanner?  I hear it really helps you see through things.

The only way to truly tell is to watch, and observe. Then compare the data of your case study to the control group.

It's all very scientific.

Do I get a free pass if my AIU specced out of Repair Matrix bleeds out? Hasn't happened yet, but I just wanna be prepared :D

People who rocket a spawn at the beginning of an objective wave = people who rambo kill during objectives. C'mon guys. Really? You still haven't figured out they will ruthlessly respawn all up in the objectives?

Maybe you should, too. Sorry if you couldn't tell, but I shouldn't have to put "/sarcasm" at the end for you to reaIize I was being sarcastic.

I usually show up in lobby all geared up so instant ready , playing pugs has a tendancy of throwing you in mid match .

The obvious is the player that showed up not to play  and goes down in same spot several times moves enough so not to get booted  .

I suppose someone trying to give a banshee/prador a piece of their mind by way of a hug is never a good sign, That, and the people who refuse to run, even in dire peril e.g. trying to casually stroll away from a platoon of dragoon's.
