I have a few like bleed out with the AIU etc, but which other things are indicative of a massive lack of skill in the game?
1) anyone on origin
2) has an ID with "red" in it
3) has an ID with "john" in it
4) equpis a striker and no consumbales on a destroyer
All PC players are cheats of course, it's a sad truth!:innocent:

2. Uses melee a lot with kits/specs that aren't good for it.
3. N7 < 120, Challenge points pretty low.
4. Low level weaponry
5. Rockets lone boss enemies or aims rocket at said enemies torso instead of at the ground.
6. Doesn't use cover.
Of course, these aren't definitive, but chances are if they're doing one or more of these, they're fairly new/bad at this game.

Using other players as meat-shields.
Dying so much you give teammates the gold first aid medal on a daily basis. :innocent:
Oh, and going to the LZ too soon.

Now it makes more sense, he didn't clarify the player was new.
Didn't think it needed to be spelled out. All those 4 factors are easy tells that the player in question is very new:
1) No gear - hasn't obtained anything yet since he/she just started playing and hasn't built up a decent manifest.
2) <100 N7/Challenge points - hasn't obtained new class choices & thus hasn't promoted as a sign of kit experimentation; Hasn't killed enough/shot enough ammo/used powers frequently enough to have actually played enough
3) Below Level V common/uncommon & Level I or II rare/UR weapons - hasn't played enough to get enough credits to buy many PSP/Arsenal/Reserves packs
4) Press 'ready' button first - combined w/ the above tells me that the player is probably very new & unfamiliar w/ the game & is only going to hinder or outright hurt the team's efficacy.
My PPR is only level 3, yet I only buy PSPs.
Do you also:
1) lack any gear equipment?
2) have >100N7/Challenges?
3) press ready w/o putting up consumables?
If you meet all, not some, all the criteria, then I would say, yes, you probably have no clue what you're getting into and getting your teammates killed for no go reason. Full disclosure: I have only a PPR II. Go ahead, check my manifest. But I also have an N7 ranking above 100 which means I've experimented w/ the various kits enough to know what works for me & what didn't. I also have a few banners which means I've done enough challenges to warrant them which demonstrates experience w/ either the weapon, character, or enemy type. I also regularly put up level appropriate consumables* before pressing ready. I also ready up within the first 3 minutes of joining a lobby, PUG or otherwise. It's just courtesy to other players not to keep them waiting. I'm not saying all that to show off. I'm saying all that to show that I've played the game enough times that I know my way around. I can't honestly say that about someone who meets all the criteria in Tailgeese's list.
*level I or none on bronze, level I & II on silver, level II & III on gold, level III & IV on platinum
*EDIT: added manifest link

Ok, then what did your statement about your PPR have to w/ my statement about the criteria for pointing out new players?

Ok, but you wouldn't have met the criteria in that regard anyway:
3) Below Level V common/uncommon & Level I or II rare/UR weapons -
hasn't played enough to get enough credits to buy many
PSP/Arsenal/Reserves packs
A PPR III is clearly higher than II. I don't what else you have on your manifest but if you play Plat regularly, then you've probably several common/uncommons above level V.

Everything but URs maxed.
Besides, I use the Paladin 1 all the time.

LOL. I see this quite a bit. People panic to press go during the countdown and forget the obvious.
Me? My doh! moment was cursing the host for putting us through the same map/enemy four time on the trot. Then remembering that I was the host.

Ready up immediately with no equipment with a kit that is not going to work well v the enemy , map and other players kits.
Using a squishy character and racing off to the other side of the map and dying and expecting others to race over and revive them and then proceeed to bleed out.

No gear.
No equipment.
Bringing uncommons level IX and lower into Gold games.

Well, there are also loadouts I can check, but sometimes, people switch characters, and forget to change their gears and weapons, and such...
