Probably because I'm "doing it wrong" but I have a tough time taking Two-handed Warriors in general.

I think the best true tank is a Sword & Shield, but Dual-Weapon Warrior (and rogue, believe it or not) can "tank" quite well. I put tank in quotes because they're not really absorbing damage. They're killing quickly and avoiding damage.

The tank of all tanks is Shale.

During my Mage playthrough, Sten took Flemeth down after Alistair got KO'd.
I think he might be worth a spin as a tank.
