Rescue Lily from the Aeonar

We know there's a mage's prison and Lily was probably sent there.
I really hope we'll get to see this and get an opportunity to free her.
Sadly, it won't have as much resonance as the Mage PC doing it.

What makes this prison so bad? I know it's the second or the worst in thesda but can't remember if any specifics were given.
Antivans. Antivans everywhere.

I don't think I'd like to live in Antiva...
But seriously I'd love it if Aeonar was part of the game, and you could come across and free/kill/ignore Lily as a little Easter egg or something (but not the whole purpose of being there)

When the Imperium occupied the area that is present-day Ferelden, they had two sites dedicated to magical experimentation at the extreme ends of the Imperial Highway. The southern one was the fortress of Ostagar, which looked out over the Korcari Wilds. The northern one was Aeonar, although the exact location is now a secret known only to a handful of Templars.
Whatever it was the Tevinter were trying to discover at Aeonar, their work was never completed. The fortress was overrun by disciples of Andraste upon hearing the news of her death. According to legend, it was a massacre-eerily silent, for the invaders caught the mages while all but one of them were in the Fade.
The site was left structurally sound but spiritually damaged. Possibly because of this, the Chantry chose to put it to use as a prison. Accused maleficarum and apostates are held in the confines of Aeonar. Those who have a powerful connection to the Fade, and particularly to demons, will inevitably attract something across the Veil, making the guilty somewhat easier to tell from the innocent.

I would like to see it at some point, but it sounds like it'll just be another Kirkwall. Blood mages, blood mages everywhere! And crazy Templar as well. Maybe a crazy Templar that feeds off mage blood instead of lyrium.

Or hopefully an fully-operating prison which isn't thigh-deep in incompetence xD

If they had this in Inquisition, the question is "Why?" Why would your character do something for someone they haven't even met?
Probably because they would hate anyone suffering in Aeonar. It's also possible you could be reviewing her case or something similar.

In the Mage origin you get the option to call a NPC a fat cow. I am wondering if it is that person this thread is about. The Hierophant wrote...

begs the question, why do the majority of the quests in any of the games?

Thanks, that does sound familur now. I went under the wiki and searched for Aeonar but it said there was nothing there. Maybe I miss spelt it<_< Does sound an awful like Kirkwal. Still want to visit, not as much as I did before I played DA2.

Not that anyone knows where it is.
I mean, her case is pretty cut and dry.
1) Violated her oath.
2) Planning and engaging in a Circle-break, so to speak.
3) Assisting a blood mage
4) Destroying the blood vial (my spelling is awful at the moment and I'd hate to even attempt the term)
5) Damaging Circle artifacts/structure (we kind of exploded a wall)

The quests in the game are there but they have something to do with the personal story or a companions personal story or they are just there to get money.
Saving Lily has nothing to do with the Inquisitor unless the Inquistor is Jowan, and that's impossible because he's a blood mage and an apostate or he's dead...
The Inquisitor will never have met her before, there would be a lot of people in the Aeonar, so what makes her so special over the countless others stuck in there?

You want a serious answer, so here's a serious answer.
She'll have a quest marker.
