The quests in the game are there but they have something to do with the personal story or a companions personal story or they are just there to get money.
Saving Lily has nothing to do with the Inquisitor unless the Inquistor is Jowan, and that's impossible because he's a blood mage and an apostate or he's dead...
The Inquisitor will never have met her before, there would be a lot of people in the Aeonar, so what makes her so special over the countless others stuck in there?
Lily would make a lovely cameo. Aeonar is a potentially neat setting and a jailbreak or case review could be fun. Also, she is a valuable class already (rogue) and would have an interesting background for a companion.
None of that is compelling, but her appearance in game would not be as jarring as Jowan's and could potentially be a great deal of fun.

Screw Lily, I want to visit that dungeon!
Only if she is an LI, and then you would have to be tasteful about it.

First, Lily couldn't be more over Jowan. He turned out to be a blood-magey liar, after all! Second, she's likely not in great shape by now, if she's still in a mage's prison as a sworn Chantry sister.
I imagine seeing the chantry at its worse could wear on one's loyalty to the Faith.

Yep, that's her.Sejborg wrote...
In the Mage origin you get the option to call a NPC a fat cow. I am wondering if it is that person this thread is about. The Hierophant wrote...

You want a serious answer, so here's a serious answer.
She'll have a quest marker.
Actually I was going to go with she had lost weight but that might be insensitive. Who am I kidding I was born to be an ass.

Actually, it's unclear if she was actually sent to Aeonar; all Greagoir said was "Get her out of my sight" at the end. He may have relented later on.
Yeah, but unlikely since Greagoir isn't exactly a cuddly bear and she IS guilty. The Mage PC escaped punishment too.

... Chances are she's probably completely mental after being locked away for 10+ years, so I'd probably feel bad and put her out of her misery with my murder knife.

"Poor" Jowan had been lying to her for months about practicing blood magic which he knew Lily would disapprove of.LolaLei wrote...
I wouldn't mind visiting Aeonar... Lily can stay there though, poor Jowan was only trying to protect her and she totally turned on him.

Then he was daft for dating her in the first place. I'm still not gonna rescue her.

He only learned blood magic because he was jealous of the PC, and then he lies about it. This is Jowan's fault. Stop trying to blame the woman.

I don't like what you're insinuating there.
It's a game. She's not real. You play the game how you want to, and I'll play it how I want to, and FYI I was just pratting around.
Bottom line is, if I don't wanna save her (or anyone), then I quite simply won't.

Clearly she was some kind of abomination or blood mage. No sane human being would choose to have such ugly hair.

Hehehe. I liked the back of it with the little pearls in the bun, the front part was a little odd looking though.

She was clearly mad. Locking her up for her own safety was the best option.

But seriously I'd love it if Aeonar was part of the game, and you could come across and free/kill/ignore Lily as a little Easter egg or something (but not the whole purpose of being there)
Yeah, something like how you could run into people from the city elf origin in Howe's Dungeon.
