For example...
"I want you all to die in a ditch."
The meaning is hard to discern...
But, the use of a smiley could make it MUCH easier.
"I want you all to die in a ditch.
"The man who typed this is clearly mentally disturbed.
"I want you all to die in a ditch.
"The man who typed this is clearly being playful. That, or he's even more mentally disturbed-er than the last guy.
