I'm just sick of dudebro military, American FPS, macho crap in general every year.  I'd rather play Bioshock, Last of Us, and Beyond.  Skyrim and ME have been taking up time too.

Since I seriously I can't understand what your motivation is for telling me something like that, I have to ask: what point do you have by telling me that?

I've found that my own taste in games is often not the norm and I regularily have people ask me how I could like something when they absolutely hated it.  I don't know how many times I've been told how wrong I am in saying ME3 is the best of the series, when it's full of supposed auto-dialogue, dumbed-down game mechanics, plotholes, etc. 

So I can sympathize with you.  To each their own.  No one has business telling you you're wrong (or nuts).

Side note- All of my friends who I asked and I could not make it through BF3's campaign because it was just mind numbingly boring for each and every single one of us.

Don't know if thats how everyone felt, but I think DICE should focus A LOT on making BF's singleplayer a hell of a lot more interesting than it was in at least the last game.

I like to think of the single player campaign in Battlefield 3 as a nice little bonus. Like having an ice cream dessert that comes with your steak. Even if it was as bad as the one in Bad Company 2 (it isn't), I still wouldn't complain.

If I want a good single player shooter with the similar theme, I'll play something else like one of the Modern Warfare games or Black Ops 2.

Haha. I mean I could skip the single player and the co-op mode in Battlefield 3 and still be happy. That's just how I play Battlefield games.

However, if I bought a Call of Duty game and only found out that the single player campaign was garbage, like Call of Duty 3 and World at War, I'd be seriously pissed.

Battlefield 4.

Here comes the milking of the Battlefield series.

I watched the demo. Unimpressed, actually, with the graphics. I expected a lot more. The Frostbite 3 isn't that impressive. I saw a lot of greys, browns, mega lens flares and less texture quality then I would expect.

How long until these lens flares become a meme?

Origin, microtransactions (reload clip and more) and a host of other reasons means I will never be buying it. The fact, too, that it was called "Fishing in....." whatever it is called is insulting, too, especially when a soldier is sacrificing his life. EA is going to try and go all CoD with this. My cousin died in the military by drowning....I guess he was "fishing". What an insult and rotten disrespect.

I can't wait for E3- this years gonna be awesome on so many levels, New Consoles, New BF, GTA 5, Witcher 3..... The list goes on and on.

The singleplayer looks like another scripted shooting gallery with more of the contrived leap-of-faith moments and Michael Bay's dabbling.

They need to put more maps like the Canal in TDM because we all know that the majority of Battlefield is camping asswipes and people who don't play the objective. Also gear to spot campers. I can't count how many times I died from someone camping like a female dog somewhere and rotates around. Also, the following improvements should be made:

---user interface
---less recoil using ACOG
---actual good starting weapons in classes, not garbage. Tell us when we get the unlocks (what level)
---better vehicle controls
---bans for spawn campers by EA admins.
---better spawn points
---no penalty for the foregrip, making it a general upgrade and not a chosable attachment.

Again, unless BF4 wants to be another campfest, make some changes
