Geth Scanner + Biotic Slash?!

Wall hax BS spam incoming.

A legit build particularly for off-host Slayering. Bioslash is much more dependable off-host than both charge and PD.

I find Falcon and Talon with disruptor ammo enough of a murder train. Don't got time for slashing.

But I might try it just for lulz, I can't imagine anybody who was trying to shoot something would like me though.

It's just one tool.... there are 3 others called Biotic Charge, Phase Disruptor and The Acolyte.

There's something to be said for stacking shield recharge on Slayer, which requires getting fitness. Also Biotic Slash is complete garbage mechanically, unfun, and goes against the Vanguard way

The extra shields are still nice immediately after charging due to bonus DR, and the human weight reduction is nice if you want to bring a Wraith AND Acolyte, especially with heavy barrel. That to me is worth more than Biotic Slash, but I really dislike that ability. I also prefer Novaguard for biotic death squads.

Back in the day... when using it was a guessing game which required blanketing an area with multiple Slashes... yeah I would have. Now that I can place it as accurately as Phase Disruptor... with no risk, cause huge BE's, and save myself from Seeker Swarms/popping Abominations/Prime Pets... I have no issue with it.

It's another tool in the arsenal... not the main weapon. Phase Disruptor will ALWAYS be the main weapon.

Meh, I don't bother putting points into biotic slash anymore.

Also... one thing that needs pointed out is that, without Biotic Slash, the Slayer has relatively poor synergy with Biotic Teams (since Charge is his only detonator)... but still has fine synergy with Tech Teams. With Biotic Slash however... the Biotic Explosions are endless... and they are QUALITY Biotic Explosions since Slash has a +50% BE evolution (like Warp and Throw).

Slayer with Max Slash and someone with Reave or Dark Sphere = $$$$$

To those players worried about an Influx of Biotic Slash spammers... if that happens, just enslave them by playing the Justicar. Wherever you see them Slashing... you Reave those targets... then you will get the kills/points/BEs.
