Have any of you managed to use a quote from Mass Effect in a normal conversation with someone who has not played the game?

The other day at work someone asked me to do something and I told them I was busy "doing some calibrations" and asked if they could come back in a bit.

Also, since I'm a bit of a jack-of-all-trades here, someone asked me why I was responsible for something.  I replied: "Because someone else might get it wrong."

We'll bang, ok?

The classic dismissing of claims gets never old, though.

Similar to this, the one that hit home with me and I REGULARLY use is "DEAD reapers."

Any time anyone says reapers or dead, I usually respond with that.

Sometimes in the right circumstance, I can fit a variant into a normal conversation:

Friend: So I was playing Minecraft, and I was fighting creepers-
Me: DEAD creepers.

I used the phrase "working as intended" as the final three words of a midterm essay last week.

Fully in context, I assure you all.

I got a challenge for you. In your next essay utilise "This would require a patch".

Also, you sir, are a blight.

Not to forget "ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL" as well as "Can I wait for a bit? I'm in the middle of some calibrations."

Btw, I live in a non-anglophonic country.
