...I used "synthesis" and "the strengths of both, the weaknesses of neither!" in the same sentence in my academy application essay. It must've worked, cause they found the application favourable.

It's not uncommon for me to say "If I have to. Do I have to?" when asked to do something I'd rather not bother with.

I'll also sometimes say "Don't try my patience" in a halfway decent imitation of Martin Sheen's voice.
