Finally, another game that in the vein of NWN1/NWN2 with regards to player made modules? I hope so...

Based off those Divinity RPGs?
It's a prequel to them.
I'm definitely going to throw money at this when I can. Not right this minute, but hopefully before the deadline. It's rare to see a developer without massive publisher backing take a risk on a niche market these days. I agree that Larian deserves help for that alone. It can't be easy working in that awkward space between tiny indie studio and development juggernaut. I like what they've said about Original Sin's mechanics and co-op campaign too though. It has the makings of a fun little somewhat retro RPG. Makes this an easy call.

I never played the earlier isometric titles, but Divinity 2 was one of those titles I picked up on a whim and ended up having a blast with. Interesting world and fun story. I'll have to follow this one I think.
Divine Divinity is by far the best in the series.

Beyond Divinity was disappointing though and The Dragon Knight Saga (while good) wasn't anything on DD.
Asides from the turn-based combat and keywords, Original Sin has returned to Divinity's roots.

And this is a positive. Forget about Divinity's roots, Sven it taking it back to the old school RPG roots.Elton John is dead wrote...

He's said before that publishers forced real time on him with the previous Divinity games and now that he's free from them, he can actually make the game he always to make.
