So when I first loaded up the game some of my drivers were a bit out of date apparantly, and not wanting to deal with it, I just ignored it and went on to playing the game on the lowest possible graphics settings and just forgot about it.

Yesterday I remembere what it was I had kept meaning to do, which was update my drivers, and clear out a few things on my PC so I could turn the graphics up to at least MED.

Man on man it's like playing a totally new game! The experience is so much better with the higher graphics!!!!

I also had the graphics on low when I first started playing DA:O. Not intentionally, I think I just skipped through the setup because I couldn't be bothered to sort stuff out.

About halfway through the game my brother made me stop and get the options menu up. He turned the graphics up to the highest setting and you're right, it makes such a huge difference! The first thing we noticed was a tiny partridge hopping beside my character and we squeed over that for like 5 minutes.

I don't really care much for graphics one way or another (I still play some of my GBA games, which look pitiful nowadays, even I know that) but in DA:O it makes so much of a difference I can't help but play on high. Posted Image
