With all due respect to the Fagnan, his weekly posts, while a focal point of BSN, weren't that big a deal to the majority of the player base (indeed, maybe 3% of players have even checked the BSN MP forums for balance changes; the vast majority will never know that the final patch and balance changes have come and gone.
People interested in MP but not bsn residents still eagerly watched Fagnan's balance changes. It was vital info and it was always reposted on all good game forums. i.e. Something Awful, russian ME community etc. Bsn is not a center of universe you know.
Seriously, did you ever go into a PUG and ask "what do you guys think about the Phalanx buff"? and have more than one person say that they read/heard about it or anything similar?
I remember when the "win button" Falcon was nerfed, it was still in pretty much every lobby a good couple of weeks after the nerf...
I use the mic a lot and talk builds/guns/powers in almost every game I've played and I can say with 100% confidence that less than 25% percent of MP players have ever read about ME3 balance changes online. I'd actually say the majority don't know balance changes ever existed and think that Tactical Cloak/the Acolyte/Falcon/Pirahna were all changed via the 1.0x patches...

In no particular order...
Godless Paladin: a fairly young man hailing from the plains of America's Midwest, technically an X-boxer though in spirit a PC player, he was responsible for a great deal of player work on balancing classes and weapons. Very active from the beginning to the middle years of MP prior to its death.
Stentron: a young man hailing from the misty realm of Seattle, one of the most skilled players on PC whose sniping skills were legendary. Best known for his mild mannred yet highly skillful approach to the game, he made a few videos every now and then but is best remembered for his peerless comradery and pleasant demeanour.
Arelex: a young man hailing from the breadbasket region of the USA, he was a highly skilled player on X-box who founded the now legendary eponymously named Team-Arelex, a group of X-box speedrunners that has had an ongoing competition with PC speedrunners. Additionally he made a few guides and offered insight into builds.
Invaderone: a middle aged man hailing from the swamp infested nether regions known as Florida, a prominent X-box player that made several guides with a great deal of glitz and glamour with ambitions of game design himself, his legacy is one of being the first X-boxer on BSN to make regular guides.
Uh Cold: a young man hailing from the swamp ridden nether regions we call Florida, he was a prominent X-box player best known for his 'Ripper Video', featuring a Volus vs. Reapers.
Ashenearth: a mysterious and cynical man of indeterminate age and origin, save that he was a Yank, he was best known for topping X-box scoreboards and his copious usage of the GI. His legacy is one of always keeping it real.
Kronner: a somewhat young man hailing from the foothills and forests of the Czech Republic, a highly skilled PC player, best known for his founding of Boomstick Club, long before the Claymore became a trend and/or popular. Additionally known for his modded Single Player 'Spectre Difficulty'. His legacy can be seen in the numerous threads extolling the greatness of the Claymore.
Lord Sirian: as infamous as he was famous, a native Australian from a desolate and isolated community in that barren land, a PC player, he was best known for his his ruthless usage of the GI, high scores, his unusual accent, occasional guides as well as commentaries. His legacy is one of reaching forth from beyond the grave to touch the hearts and minds of BSN without direct intervention.
Zhhk: a true Northman hailing from the oil rich land of Norway, a committed PC player, he was best known for his multiple guides, entertaining videos as well as wit and banter. MIA since post Earth DLC, his legacy remains as one of the greatest youtube entertainers on the BSN.
Sy7ar: a young man of Sinitic origin, dwelling in the land of Canada, a highly skilled PC player known for a variety of accomplishments, including the first ever documented Drell Vanguard Gold solo, founder of the PC Spectre group, he is best remembered for his willingless to take on what had been tasks hitherto perceived as impossible, rendering them possible and setting a benchmark for future generations. His greatest legacy is the Spectre group.
Feneckus: by far the most mysterious and inscrutable figure on BSN, seemingly of indeterminate age, a man of polymathic abilities, ranging from mathematics to English prose of greater caliber than that of many native speakers, he was a Frenchman best known for being one of the most skilled PC players, a master of a wide variety of classes still more infamous for his intense loathing of Infiltrators and even greater hatred of Geth. His legacy cannot truly be known, in keeping with his inscrutable nature and design though his words shall haunt us for a long time to come.
Sp3c7er: a somewhat young man of Bulgarian origin, a dedicated PC player and a legendary sniper. He was best known for being the first to ever record a Gold solo as well as the first Destroyer Platinum solo, amongst many other feats. His legacy is one of always pushing the limits of what is humanly possible, setting new benchmarks for posterity.
The hardon you got going for some of these guys is alarming.

Maybe this is why you feel old Stardusk. You're stuck in the past while most of those you listed have moved on.
Also lol at the recent dirty comments.

Ordin: Redefined the meaning of Vanguard before anyone could even play that class at the Gold level.
Archangel: Hands down the best sniper in ME3. Left ME 3 early on.
Zeju: Aiming skills so precise as to be surgical. One of the first to leave ME 3.
lpconfig: When the team was in danger, lpconfig was an impressive player who turned whatever he played into a machine and won the wave. Also great guy who helped others out with builds and game info.
Weaselball: Another master of this game, and very helpful to everyone. Played many games with Stentron and Riganna.
Riganna: Fast, quick, the ultimate team player. She would assure the team of extraction.
|***Mace***| This guy was gold viable after his first day in this game. Helpful to others and amazing gameplay.
ComeHonor and SpaceMonkey: Formidable to say the least, and extremely fun. Impressive skillset and gameplay.
Of the others on your list I knew Sten very well, and he's a great guy. Impressive that he refused to kick a level 1 Vanguard on Gold/Reapers in the beginning of this game, and we extracted every single time. He had no attitude. Kronner was cool and would play games to help people out who wanted to learn.

He certainly didn't use an aimbot in that video where the other players troll him with shockwave and scorpion spamming.
