You must not have read my caption explaining my reasoning... That's why I use the Shaman if I use an Adept which I rarely do anymore, for the Barrier and Damage Reduction from it. Warp or Shockwave. Pick one. Both have benefits, downfalls.

Mmm, Top 3 vanguards are probably Phoenix,Kroguard,Drellguard

Cluster Grenades are worthless, they arent strong enough and most of the time they miss, Warp has a moderately long recharge speed and clearly I do care about my Blade Armor. It's why I like the Batarian Soldier and Vanguard but don't like the Slasher.

Cluster Grenades are worthless, they arent strong enough and most of the time they miss, Warp has a moderately long recharge speed and clearly I do care about my Blade Armor. It's why I like the Batarian Soldier and Vanguard but don't like the Slasher.

Clusters take some getting used to, but the effort is well worth the reward in my opinion, especially when specced for double damage and shrapnel on the Batdept.

Batarian adept is one of the best. I use him over Shaman, specially after promoting to level up.

He was warp and lash (good phantom killer). He can prime and detonate BEs. Plus cluster grenades.

@OMGsideboob : Differences of opinion don't preclude you from being wrong. And the Hunter is also far from being wortheless.

As you are presenting your POV in a constructive way .. I will do the same.

The Drell Vanguard can be specd for a %90 damage boost to cluster nades after a BC, if my math is correct, that is an additional 450 damage per fragment .. so you can throw 3 fragments at a boss unit, each doing 1450 damage.

For the Drell Adept, if you take evo 5B of clusters, then you get a MASSIVE damage bonus (%100 of base?) when hitting a target which has been biotically primed (ie Reave), plus the biotic explosion that creates.

These are two of the most powerful spawn nukers in the game.

I would respectfully submit you have never seen either of these kits played well .. because everyone who has is typically in awe of the level of domination


Edit: oops on the #s for additional damage w the Drell Vanguard .. i'm off .. although they are still extremely powerful

 Every time I think a class / Race in that class sucks I find a build that once tried that makes me rethink my opinion. while there are classes/ races and builds for them that are tougher to make work then others I find it hard to say any one of them are bad on there own, some just take more skill to play then others.
