But my worst match was with a Vorcha Hunter who became invincible..... 100+ minute platinum match.

on-topic: Volus sentinel, 2 powers that do no meaningful damage, a third power that can pretty reliably lockout your teammates, garbage passives, and terrible health n shields.

I mean the basic, original one.

No dodge, and nothing particularly special ability wise. Hell, the human soldier outclasses him with access to frag grenades.

Batsent or vorcha hunter. Becos subnet. I'll say even the vorcha wins out over batsent because of dodge and blood lust. Shockwave has never been reliable or consistent for me so hands down batsent.

Passive bonuses: 37.5% damage boost, 55% weapon stability boost (has some off host issues), 30% headshot bonus.

MM bonuses: Massive bonus to accuracy and fire rate depends how you wish to spec it, 25% more damage bonus to headshots.

Proxy mine: 20% more damage.

Conclusion: GTFO.

I can use all the kits effectively on Gold, but Platinum is where the weaker kits struggle.

VolMerc, Hunter, Sabo, Voldept, SE.. Well some kits need to be 'below average', right?

I dislike Volus, but admit the VolEngie and Bouldergard are great. That aside, I dun think its bias when I say that VolMerc is prob the worst kit in the game atm, and that's mainly cause of nerfed pets and the annoying SB bug. I mean, suicide/shock drone is decent, provided things pay it enough attention or it gets caught in aoe dmg, or you can spec for rockets so it runs way from enemies and fires at a wall.. cause its AI is too stupid to account for LoS. Decoy feels empty w/o Geth around, and volus passives are poor. At least the Voldept has stasis and orbs (for recharge, mostly) to add to the SBing.

Anyone saying kits like the TSo, Havoc, HSe, Shaman, AA, etc: you aren't serious, right?

People are picking kits based on there abilites to kill enemies. While I agree the Volus Sentinel is nice for restoring shields, his powers are extremely lackluster.

all volus are decent support by default (well, when they aren't locking you out w/ SB, forcing a melee fix)- all can detonate, probably provide better dmg (Voldept at least can carry something heavier thanks to orbs lowering recharge speed), and still have SB and stealth.

Dun get me wrong, I'm not saying he's the worst by far or anything; all the ones I listed are imo all in need of quite a bit of polish.. which they're never gonna get. many of them could be fine if pets were buffed in general.

Yup. I picked the Havok as the Volsen is at least useful vs Geth. It is pretty debatable however. I could go either way.

I personally can't justify picking a Turian as the worst kit. While I do agree the Saboteur's powers suck, he has that amazing weapons passive that no other race has.

Vanilla Turians have better Passives though IIRC. Sabotuer's lack of synergy just kills it for me, even with the incredible passives. The only thing going for him really is his loldodge.

Both Salarians. Rarely see them and most that play them do so very badly.
