It had some of the best quests and story arcs in any BioWare game.

ME3 MP saved ME3 for me.
Was so disappointed in the ending, even the "extended cut" version. Have bought the SP DLC, as a thank you for MP (no real money for the RNG store, sorry), but have not played them. Not angry with the ending, just profoundly disappointed. For me, BioWare swung for the fences, but instead, struck out. I have downloaded and installed MEHEM, will see if that makes a difference.
Back to MP, was skeptical at first, was only going to play it for the Galaxy at War readiness rating, but instead, got hooked. After the initial play through of MP, started a second run and abandoned it. Shepard is currently stuck at the clinic, on his way to see Ash. The rest of my time with ME3 has been in MP. A lot of time in MP. Dislike the bugs, dislike the magnetic walls/cover, dislike how vulnerable MP is to lag, dislike how easily the game can have a bad sync that spawns numerous glitches. Those are things BioWare should work on for ME4 MP.
That said, the rest of MP has been a joy. Bad pugs? A challenge to overcome. Bad RNG store? Never played for the manifest, but for the fun, so the store has been at most a distraction. No, the overall ME3 MP experience has been a joy.
BioWare's support was long and atypical of the genre. Good on ya, BioWare, quite an accomplishment. And I still play (I'm not dead yet, I'm getting better, just restin', I feel like I'll be walkin' around at any moment), 'cause I'm still having fun.
Oh, also, the Devs jumping into the forums, at least the MP forum. Some really talented and top notch folks. Sorry to see Derek was just a contract employee and now gone from BioWare. Glad folks like Bryan and Nathan are moving on to new projects. Hope they are a part of ME4/MP. They listened to us and did a lot to incorporate our suggestions. I think they will strive to make ME4 MP free of many of the problems that will forever haunt ME3 MP. I might have my issues with EA (Origin, I'm looking at you), but I hope that BioWare keeps its distinct personality. Good folks, building good stories into their games and one incredible MP experience. Thank you.

ME3 is an emotional roller coaster ride, more so if you played from ME1, and even with the ending it has the ride to get to it is worth it.
The MP is tied into the game so well and doesn't tire to break new ground or be "innovative" it is a basic MP set up but it works so well for the game due to how they set its story up.

Hey gunboat! I played with you yesterday! We did some gold runs, you were a turian sentinel, and I was first a turian soldier (we meleed each other in every end of wave) and then i think i was a juggernaut and tried to support you guys
I had a blast and tons of funs.

I've put in over 200 hours into it; that alone has made me quit Skyrim (which I put in over 200 hours in); something I've not done since Halo CE. I've got 16% left to BotB...
)))))))))))))) - but seriously, banners aside, it is pretty fun, which is more than I can say about most games I own (and I own a lot). Between SP and MP, I'm 8/9ths the way to 300 hours

After Mass Effect 2 came out my dream game was some sort of Co-op mode where I could be a charging Vanguard. They pretty much gave me exactly what I wanted, which usually never happens, but with a crap ton of bugs.

I've put around 600 hours in MP and played through all the games multiple times and don't get bored with them. My favorite series of all time and will continue to play until the wheels fall off. Figuratively speaking, of course.

Somehow the multiplayer never seems to get old...I keep playing and playing, and still haven't got bored with it...excellent! As for the single player, I've played all three games multiple times and never get tired of it. The story and characters are awesome and it's by far my all time favorite game series.

Fun mp...good sp overall (yeah, overall...not completely). Never spent so much on a series before. Not that I'm a fan of the dlc model...

I still find this game fun even after a year and well over 1000 hours. If the next Mass Effect MP is like this but with fewer bugs and other associated BS then I probably won't ever stop playing it.
