What's that one banner you really really wanted, and you had to grind for it? For me...when the new survivor banner came out...i grinded 13 hours of bronze for extractions and the N7 pirahna

N7 (the n7 rating is just useless and says quite nothing about a player - except he's a grinder), 200 waves because I like to play only about 5 kits...

I just gave up midway though Collector waves. The minuscule playerbase on the PS3, along with the constant server disconnects I get have soured the experience for me. Now I can't even be bothered with changing the disc.

Reaper Mastery for the Husks. I play against Reapers about sixty percent of the time, and I'm still closer to getting Geth and Cerberus Mastery than Reaper.

Commando Mastery. Oh boy. Good thing most turian and asari kits are boss

Outsider Mastery. This was the last of those wave-grinding banners, so I just couldn't wait until I could play any kits I wanted again.

Surprisingly, Hardcore. That 25m points challenge was the last thing before I got my BotB banner. I guess I was grinding all other challenges in a very efficient way, because I didn't really expect this one to be the very last.
Btw, feel free to PM me if you want to know what was my strategy for getting BotB the fastest way possible.

Useless info #1:  My boys watch me play every now & then... my oldest (age 14) asked me if this character's main weapon was the fart or was he a bowling ball.

Useless info #2:  Have unlocked the Ultra rare Volus Adept and Engineer.  Still have not unlocked the Rare Turian Saboteur, Drell Assassin, N7 Destroyer, Turian Havoc, Quarian Marksman, or Krogan Warlord.  (There are a few more, but those are the ones I'd like to try.)

Reaper Mastery because of the husk. Closely followed by Council Operator. I'm sure anything doing the waves is super tedious when it comes to the characters you don't play often. TBH, The Cabal Vanguard coming out saved me! Because I looove that character, so I was eager to play with her. I could play all the characters that I enjoyed playing during the trial to get that banner. : D

So far it has been the SMG weapon challenge because doing that on gold is agony. That being said, i still have most of the Alien challenges to go - but now i can at least do them with the weapons i prefer ;-)

Map mastery was the worst for me. I had all the others done & was still stuck grinding gold waves. Never thought the nightmare would end.
