I'm not dissing BioWare; played the first two games in less than a month and it's suddenly contending for my favorite game series ever? Beyond impressive. Alas, it feels like some things were just ignored altogether.

Mass effect is my favorite concept for videogames currently.
It has been for a few years now. I fell head over heels for it from me1.
Sci-fi has been with me from birth. My biological parents were watching Red Dwarf while I was still in the womb.
But there is one really important factor that makes my heart ache and break in regards to mass effect.
The lack of female concepts in both the SP and the MP of Mass effect.
Me3 only just started to add females npc sprites, and it's over already! They wont add anything more to me3. I can only desperately dream that they will fix their gender proportions in the next mass effect game.

Mass Effect 2: Oh, fun game. Love the characters.
Mass Effect 3: Meh... The ambiance is too dark, it lacks the humour the second game had. The endings... Won't even talk about it. I miss Drew's touch to the story.
Mass Effect 1 on PSN: Oh, now I see why people loved this game, it feels so much like old school rpgs with this 70s vibe in it.

My ideas on Bioware were mixed, my experiences remain the best for ME1 and ME2. It's sad that I had to start the series with 2, but the first game on PSN was worth the wait.

As for Dragon Age Origins & II, that's a whole other story.

After the atrocity that was DA2 and ME3 that just didn't cut it....meh. I don't hate Bioware, I just don't care about them right now. I am keeping an eye on DA3 though, although I have small hopes for it.

I'm been a fan of BW since the BG series and right now I'm finishing the ME series, and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. But over all what I think of BW as a developer is that they have been somewhat stumbing is that they are trying to cater to everyone and forgot the old saying " you can't please everyone". IMO that being said if they didn't do that, and did what they really wanted all there games might have been better. I read one of the posts about them moving to making games for consoles. Yes the PS3 was difficult, BW isn't the only company that had problems coding it. But with the PS4 coming out and being "a computer " like working. Developers are raving about it. So BW shouldn't have any problems making games for it and us fans will benefit from that.
