hey, don't give up! I've tried the @saminator way, and it works.. With one gold match you get around 80k, and you can purchase 16 recruit packs (5k each).
it means 16 rockets/16medigels, some level 1 equipment, and at least 8 character cards, with xp points...

so, in this way, with 500k you can upgrade level 1 characters up to 10/14.. At this point, you jump into gold, few matches, they are level 20, promote, and with the money go again with recruit packs... 

A speed burst towards the 60 promotions!

I agree, for people like me who are not used to promoting this challenge sucks. Having all classes always at 20 kinda becomes a non negotiable

At 40 now. My last challenge for botb as well. Those 200 waves were much more fun than this....

This is what I'm doing.  Playing Gold/Silver games with characters and weapons I'm working on for challenges, then buying only recruit packs (even after Gold).  Promote as soon as it hits 20, pick up a character that's about level 11 or so, rinse/repeat.

OP -- saminator's way or make a game of it. For me, N7 was easy. I promote in lieu of using respec cards.

I am constantly changing builds and would never be able to do that at the rate the RNG store drops respec cards.

So for me, instead of tedious, it just became part of the fun.

Grabs were the same way for me, until I made a game of it, then, amazingly, it became fun. Now I finish grabs long before the overall melee challenge, which is no big deal, because I love to melee too.

Was the easiest of all my challenges, I'm still doing this one even now without effort. Promoting isn't bad unless you can't manage a game as anything besides a level 20. Also buy recruit packs, ~300K will get you back to level 10 on almost all your classes.

Playing as a lower level class in a way can make you a better player at level 20. Since at lower levels you don't have as many resources.

Just finished my 60th promotion last night to unlock N7 mastery and BotB. It was a chore, absolutely no doubt about it, but it's nice to be done.

Nah the suggestion is horrible. The L20 character is going to be wasting XP from recruit packs. 

Instead, you promote ALL of your characters then simply use your creds to level up your characters. Usually I'll have bout 400k or so to blow. After spending that I have a bunch of characters about L15 or so. Just take those guys into Gold or just keep spamming packs along the way. Once you get someone to L20 you wipe him asap. 

I unlocked my N7 mastery just earlier.

30/60 here...
Didn`t grind it because I promoted all my characters before Tuesday spending when we used to unlock certain characters on Tuesday.

No plan of promoting until I max out my Lancer.
..but I can imagine how painful it would be.. because I hate leveling up and promotion both.
Playing level 20 character is fun for me.

Ok, come on.. It took me someting like 50 hours to do it... The saminator way... As soon as one was at 20, promote it, spend money on base pack, choose the higher character, bring to 20, and again from the beginning!

Now I have all promoted 13 times, except one 12, that will be my last promotion (yes, I have promoted just few times before the N7 mastery)

And now let's go for the last solo gold match I need for the BoB banner... Left by proposal... :-D

"Must do it" /facepalm. It is a game, ffs, nothing is obligated to do. Now as you have that virtual banner, feels better? Does it count? The game itself could be shutdown anytime, sooner or later, then nobody will care about that, especially you as you will focus on other things.

Seriously, I wonder how my generation could play games like Wizard of Wor for countless hours without achievements, challenge points, virtual rewards etc. 

I am pretty sure I will never do the N7 Mastery because I hate promoting and levelling again and I don't feel I must do it. I just play the game for FUN, for an adrenaling pumping, exciting passtime activity.
