^ Seeing as how it comes out soon might as well resurrect the thread. YAY NECROMANCY.
I am quite looking forward to this book. Weekes seems like a fun guy and he wrote all my favourite plot lines in ME3. What I'll inevitably be comparing it to is Asunder which pleasantly surprised me since it was leaps and bounds ahead of the usual game-related books, which are all cringe-worthy. It was in solid, standard fantasy genre land. PLUS. We finally get to meet Celene! And possibly Morrigan! And almost definitely Leliana again!

Empress Celene is one of those characters who I didn't know I wanted to "meet" as badly as I do, until I find out that we're going to have a book based on her.
For one, she looks absolutely stunning. For another - from the details we've heard about her across both games, the comics and the books, she sounds so wonderful. How she wanted to unite Ferelden and Orlais, how she's interested in discovering Sandal's abilities, how she has been Empress since she was put on the throne at the age of sixteen? She sounds like such a complex character to get to know, and I for one am eager to "meet" her through this book soon.
(Plus, she's written by Patrick Weekes. With all of this plus a storyline as interesting as an Elven uprising, I feel like this book is going to be amazing.)
Sounds like she would make a cool companion character in Dragon Age Inquisition.

I just hope it'll be released before DAI in my country. With some luck it will but I'm not so sure about the Last Flight. Pity.

It will be abit odd to read a Dragon Age book that isn`t written by Gaider. I am sure the new author is good too, of course, but till...Nostalgia.

Oh you're lucky!
I have to wait two weeks (after the release date) to get the book.
Not sure I will be able to resist the urge to read every spoilers on the forum .
