I dunno about marriage, but the book definitely makes Celene-Female PC only a plausible option.
And I would have no issues with that, as someone who'll do a first PT with a male PC.

Yeah, options are nice, but this one? It's not that I care to get in the way of same-sex marriages, but they didn't happen during the time period this was based on, partially for the sake of producing royal heirs.
