Andeson's death didn't move me, I was expecting it in the final rush to the beam, a little too straightforward and cliche
Mordin, Thane and Legion however did stick their emotional landings, especially Mordin and Thane.

The two parts of the game which moved me the most weren't so much singular events and more an character; Bakara.
Bakara lived a life of so much pain and suffering thanks to the genophage that her stories of going to Maleon, becoming a Shaman and giving the rock which she projected all her hopes for the future on, and then her speech to rally the krogan at the Hollows, made for a very unique and fulfilling character as a whole, and a stand-out for the series.

It's interesting you would say that and have a banner basically praising Javik. Who would kill everyone that might oppose him.
fixed that for ya.

The girl talking to the Turian guard in the area with all the refugees.
I play the Colonist background that girl looks like my Shep. It was a little creepy.
But yeah, Charr and Ereba make me tear up a little. Especially since it's implied that she's pregnant.

op: isn't that the blue rose of Illium? In Me2, you can talk the Asari into accepting the poet krogan, and then in 3 you get that scene. Very powerfull. (tear smiley)
Yup, Ereba and Charr. Naturally I hooked them up.

Well you can't simultaneously believe the krogan deserve hope and the krogan deserve to die, can you?
No, I can't, but that's okay because I don't believe the krogan deserve to die.

Perhaps the thing that moved me most of all was Mordin talking about his exploration of faith, as he contemplates the dead Krogan mother.
Bakara explaining her spiritual beliefs on the SR2 was also a very intense moment.

I think david is suggesting that by sporting a javik banner you support and agree with him.
Though I suspect you already knew that and are intentionally being a smart a--.
I approve.

That's very similar to how I felt. Anderson's death got me, but the other three did nothing for me. They just tried way too hard, it was like overkill. I just ended up feeling manipulated and vaguely annoyed. Thane's poem bugged me more than anything. It felt like just another reminder from the game saying, "Shepard's going to die! Shepard's going to die!"M25105 wrote...
delivering the final recordings of Charr to his wife and listening to her reaction as well as the poem. Now that was sad, there wasn't any overly dramatic music, dramatic cutscenes or whatever. It was just a farewell poem being delivered to a man's wife. Made me almost cry.

I also agree about the scene with Charr's recording. I ended up tearing up again when I came across it while playing the new DLC. Even a year later, at a point when I feel pretty desensitized by the series. I think for me it has a lot to do with the voice acting and less about what they're saying. The poem didn't get to me as much as the emotion in her voice did.

And the fact he almost kicked the butt of second character I hated the most did help too.
But the most shocking death, that actually shook me a little, was Joker's sister

I didn't. If she wants to kill herself she can do it without my help. I'm not going to demoralize the hospital staff.tevix wrote...
Did anyone else authroize a gun for that asari in the hospital?

That asari's dialogue left a bitter taste in my mouth, it was just too contrived.

Thane's prayer. Especially as Femshep (Why did it say SHE?). Gets me every time.
Thane was an awesome character. I never had a femshep romance him but I did always consider him and my femshep to be close friends. The hospital scene was sad
