Granted, but you've just done a pile of work for me. Cleaning my dishes, scrubbing my floors, waxing my shoes, picking up all the dog poop in my yard, etc, etc.

Granted, but you dont specify that it is someone from the Simpsons world. You phone up the real-life CPS and report it and are fined heavily for wasting the CPS's time.

Granted, but what you dont realize is that the genie wasnt going to corrupt your wish this time. You could have wished for anything and it wouldnt have been corrupted. Without any guidance as for what you want, the genie simply gives you a blank sheet of paper for your wish and flies away.

 

I wish that I will always have good luck.

Granted, your starship is capable of going faster than light, but it cant withstand going faster than light. You and the ship burn up on your first test drive.

 

I wish that I could grant myself extra time whenever I needed it.
