Personally I liked Shep & Ashley, until Bioware screwed it up. ME1 really built it up as those two having the most in common.

By not including her hardly at all in ME2, and then in ME3 half the time she's in the hospital. The Citadel DLC did make it better though, for every character.
It just seems that the scenes involving Shep & Ash in ME3 were a little short.
Maybe others can elaborate on this.

Shepard/Tali and Shepard/Kaidan. Wish I coulda played a FemShep with Tali, but I guess the world can't be perfect. 
There's voice acting for it too.. sigh. Wusses.
Anyhow! The Hackett thing made me laugh.
Awesome. (I do miss that Harbinger/Shepard love story thread too that they locked down for no real reason.)

Never played as a female Shepard but from what I've seen, the Garrus arc seemed to be the most fluid and natural.

I haven't tried Garrus yet. So far there isn't one for a straight female. Alenko would have been alright if his romance had been written consistently.
It was okay up till the Citadel DLC but he and Femshep had a combative edge in that that did not come off as entirely playful and could have used a lot more tenderness for my taste. That "sit your ass" down remark was not as respectful as he has been in the past despite the fact she was being kind of ****y about him changing the plans for the evening.
Also in the main game I didn't like how he is so self involved. Never asking how Shepard is doing or being supportive when she is going through so much. Garrus at least offers emotional support as a friend and takes care of her. He makes Alenko look kind of bad in comparison.
Of course , the graphics glitch with the eyes is making Alenko look bad anyway.

If you haven't tried Garrus, try him. His content is pretty great in ME3.
