Agree with you there to a point. The best romance is the romance you prefer, but it's also the romance that is the most well written. Multiple definitions of best I guess.

Anyhow, Best romance, imo: Garrus for FemShep, and Liara for MShep

I kinda understand how they screwed up Shep / Ash relationship. I'm pretty sure Ash is among the most hated characters (imo, tie with Jacob in that category). So It's understandable if the writers didn't care much about Ash romance. Heck, I still can't tolerate that woman.

Yeah, I can see how Ash is one of the most hated characters, but I don't really think they gave Ash much of a chance to redeem herself. She just really only trusted the Alliance and humans and was built up that way, but Shep really influenced her to change her mind. Lot of wasted potential there. She did somewhat redeem herself in ME3, but leaving her pretty much completely out of ME2 didn't help matters. That and a new writer didn't help either.

LOL, you changed your icon, now your comment doesn't make sense.
Model walking on the runway is the best romance? had no idea that was even an option.

So much wasted potential. If Bioware had put the effort into Ash like they did with Liara, things probably would have been different.

Personally I liked Shep & Ashley, until Bioware screwed it up. ME1 really built it up as those two having the most in common.
how'd they screw it up?
By not including her hardly at all in ME2, and then in ME3 half the time she's in the hospital. The Citadel DLC did make it better though, for every character.
It just seems that the scenes involving Shep & Ash in ME3 were a little short.
Maybe others can elaborate on this.
I felt the same. Ashley didn't get much in DLC in terms of romance though...
If they included the deleted scene it would end up being great. Can't wrap my head around why they would remove it. It felt like a really Ashley thing to ask Shepard and a very deep moment (this coming from an atheist).
Makes me angry :|
