You're wrong.
If the heretics are rewritten, the geth are stronger and quarians are weaker. In that scenario, the geth would be the better choice based on war assets.
If the heretics are destroyed, the geth are weaker and the quarians are stronger. In that scenario, the quarians would be the better choice to side with.
What part of "in total" didn't ring with you?
If you take every geth asset and every quarian asset and compare them, the quarians have more ban the geth.

Only if you destroyed the heretics in ME2.
I mean in total, with every asset taken into account.
The geth come out to 815, while the quarians max out at around 820-30.
Ok, well I stand corrected then.

But that's completely trivial, as there never is a scenario where you have the max total of both in 1 playthrough. One side will always be stronger than the other in every playthrough, and it will always depend on your choice with the heretic geth in ME2.
So yes, I get what you're saying, but I don't get what your point is. What is your point exactly?

My point is exactly what I said. Somebody said a "powerful machine race", and I replied by saying that the quarians total higher than the geth. I wasn't entirely serious, so stop being obtuse.

It's down to opinion though, there is no such thing as a "best" LI.

Tali for the simple reason it actually feels like a romance. It's all about her as a character rather than how she looks and that both her and Shep find a way to make it work despite the whole immune system thing. I'd then say Garrus' is well done and then Liara's. Didn't care much for the whole shrink story with Jack and Miranda's felt like a one night stand and that she seemed forced onto you with the not so subtle camera shots. Can't stand Ash as a character so wouldn't go near her and never seen Kaidans so don't know about that one.

Not sure if srs.

Just an opinion. I never did her romance in 3 but it seemed like that in 2 to me. Perhaps I did it wrong. Didn't like the obvious camera angles, maybe that warped my opinion of it.
"Did it wrong" would be putting it mildly.

Also, Liara obviously is the canon romance and has better content than Tali of course, even though Liara becomes a lousy Shadow Broker and an annoying snobbish biatch in ME3.
This is mostly true. Liara is essentially the canon romance as she is the creator's pet. I don't find her to be snobbish, though.

Not really, some of the things they say sound very one night standy to me. But like I say it's personal opinion. Just didn't like it very much.
It isn't that way at all.

Tali's romance is just as canonical as Liara's.

Liara's romance, only because her romance is the one that's given the most emphasis for some reason. She has the majority of intimate scenes with Shep, far more than any other character. Some can say that the other LI's were shafted in favour of Liara.

Better content? Liara's romance arch in ME2 was her becoming the Shadow Broker then again refusing to come with you. Tali you help her keep her good name among her people and find a way to be physical without harming her badly.Heretic_Hanar wrote...

ME3 you give Tali back her homeworld and you both make plans to build a house there. Liara seems to just tease about blue babies and joins memories with you,
My point is you stating that Liara having better content is opinion and not fact. It didn't come off as opinion in your post though with how you added the "of course" on the end.

This, I never understood the insistance that Liara was favored above all (in fact with the Citadel DLC Id imagine many romances are just as good as Liara's) she may have more scenes than others but, in my Shep that romanced garrus for example, Liara seemed no more than a good friend in any scene she was in. I didn't feel a romance was being forced on my character, I didn't find her snobbish or pushy, she was simply a good friend.
I know such a shock cause it's not like Liara is one of the main reasons shepard is alive or anything...<_<

Also this, Garrus' romance, especially with the Citadel DLC is amazing and just as good as Liara's
