Liara's romance, only because her romance is the one that's given the most emphasis for some reason. She has the majority of intimate scenes with Shep, far more than any other character. Some can say that the other LI's were shafted in favour of Liara.

*looks at Garrus romance* You're so funny.

I've done both the Garrus and Liara romances in ME3.  Garrus gets more romance content.  There's an acknowledgement of their relationship in most (if not all) of his cutscenes.

My favorite is Liara, when you start at ME3... It was because of the way Shepard said, "No pressure." Man, she sounded so nervous! I loved it!

Although, Garrus might have an edge with the Tango thing... but that was paid for, so...

I think you should witch Garrus with Miranda.

You know...Kaidan is always going to be my favorite.

But in all honesty, I have to say Garrus probably really is the best romance for straight femshep. Whenever Garrus and Shepard are together it just seems ....right.

Don't hate me, Kaidan!

Garrus.

In ME2 they gave you the impression while he was into shep he wasn't exactly into her and would then break up with her in ME3 but then in 3 he effortlessly remedies that and the relationship was beautifully well done I loved how he and fshep both gave and received comfort when he spoke to my fshep about ruthless calculus or how I couldn't save everyone I really felt like he was a practical boyfriend. That even though we were dating I could still count on him now to tell me even the things I didn't want to hear like he did back then infact I felt like he tried more to give her the real unsugary report because he was her boyfriend.

His date break was so perfectly Garrus while at the same time he tried to be soft with his girl which reflected him perfectly he was confident with his guns but awkward when it came to her and it worked.

The only thing I didn't like about this romance was the 1 second love scene, fade to black, I was well aware I was dating an alien I was hoping BW would bring back showing skin even with their aliens sure I've seen the naked model of a Turian that is out there and that would be very very hard to make look pretty but for him show his bare chest or a knee or something mixed with fshep's skin. It made sense when she woke up he'd be dressed but she was in her underwear again not good make her pull the covers with her over her chest if you want to keep it all covered but no underwear wake ups when they were supposibly doing it all night long.

I really thought this relationship was the model for all the others and that when I met Tali as Mshep I could look forward to more unique things like her comforting and supporting him and he doing so for her over her own people's war while her chapter took place and once her world's trials were over she'd continue to support him because his wasn't.

I thought surely she's going to surprise her man with a break date of her own so uniquely Tali but also her wanting to blend in something very human. I read a fiction once who did such a lovely job of doing this. Tali invited mshep to a (for a lack of a description) holo hotel where rooms would be rented but they were holo decks within these large rooms you could simulate many things like war scenarios for laser tag, or a simple park setting. She chose to have picnic with him and remove her helmet it was a great way to allow him to be with her in a very human activity that was safe for her and romantic for them both. I was hoping BW would've done something similar. But BW rushed this relationship and dumped many others which was very disappointing.

Miranda and Jack are in the number two spot only because of their lack of content in ME3. Even with the Citadel dlc the four stated have more content than the number 2 spots. All of the number 1 and 2 spots have good quality but 2 spots have always had less quantity. That is why they are number 2 spots on my list.

For overall quality, probably has to be Garrus. Liara, Kaidan and Ash all seem to go through pretty major personality shifts from ME/ME2 or ME/ME3. Plus, the Liara friendship arc is great without the romance component; she makes a convincing (and badass) bestie.

My personal favorite remains Cortez, however. Huzzah for interracial space husbands.

None really. It's mostly overused romance trites with good sex scenes. For a male Shepard anyway.

If you mean objectively, then it's Liara. No one else has an entire DLC dedicated to her, on top of being virtually unkillable and constantly present across all 3 games.

As for me, it's Ashley. Really liked Ashley's personality, and her view on other species was understandable, considering where she was coming from. You can see how she evolved, later saying that she considers Tali as her ''sister''.. I also agree that there should have been more content for the VS in ME3, considering they are not in ME2 and that they are out for half of ME3.

Does any LI besides Garrus ask Spacer Shepard whether s/he's heard from her/his mother?

No, that line of dialogue is specific to Garrus. It also isn't LI specific.

Oh, I know (about the LI specific part, since my Shakarian is a Colonist) I just think it's wierd that nobody else, especially Shepard's LI, asks Shepard about her/his mom since Shepard asks everybody else about their family.

Especially Kaidan. You have the perfect opportunity for it too, when he's telling you that his family is MIA when he first comes onboard and my Spacer romanced him in ME1 and stayed loyal to him. More missed opportunities. *sigh*

I think Liara T'Soni is a good choice if you want a romance.

This asari character has a lot of depth. She is a brain girl. The way to her heart is through her youth and the energy she puts in her work. She is soft inside with a lot of feelings, but also serious and determinated. She has an inner drive not to follow the main stream. She is an independent girl with her own opinions. I like that.
Liara is also an alien you admire for her beauty. Big round innocent eyes.

Then you have Jack. I really like her. She's a fisty little one. I'd hate to have a domestic fight with her. But seriously, she is a real beautiful person. Her story is touching and gives you a logical understanding of her personality.

If I was into males Garrus might be a choice. But he is too far away from ****** sapiens to be attractive. Although they did a lot of work on his personality through his voice.

I don't like fast flirts and casual sex. Maybe because I'm 48 years old now.

Tali could also be a subject. A character full of emotions, energy and longings. Her nerveousness is a nice twist. And she is hot-tempered as well.

Kelly Chambers and Samantha Traynor are too easy. They almost beg for it.
Kaidan Alenko and Ashley Williams are a bit too Hollywood-like to me. Movie stars. They don't appeal as their personalities are to main stream.
Same goes with Miranda Lawson. A type who thinks too much of her self.

I don't like stereotype Hollywood soap opera types.

This one is hard to say (note ive always played as femShep)

Me 1: Ill have to go with Kaiden because Liara was kind of boring and i always killed Ashley (kept her alive in my latest playthrough)

Me 2: Its hard to choose between Garrus and Thane....i guess ill choose Garrus...but on the female side ill go with Miranda's Romance. (Jacob's Romance was hilarious "The Priiiiiiize"

Me 3: Ill go with Garrus again (although continuing with Kaiden is cool too) on the female side i like Ashley's romance and also Traynor
