Take an N7 paladin. Snap freeze, energy drain --> Cryo explosion, and instant death.

Assuming someone doesn't drain her shields why your powers are cooling down.

But I do still believe Cerberus is the second cheapest faction after the CollectorsGeth.

i fix for you

And Geth Mastery 5 times.

I wholeheartedly disagree with this fix.

Geth are easy, lern 2 pleh.

says the one with 16 total plat extractions

And 5 Geth mastery completions

Human adept with acolyte = easy easy dead phantom.

When you see a phantom, throw a singularity at her. She will drop into shield mode. Singularity will stick to her bubble. Then shoot her with acolyte. It will strip her shields even on platinum. When she goes to run again she will be caught in the singularity and die. Funny as hell watching her use her jet boosters over and over again to right herself but can neverdo it.

Or a scorpion.  The scorpion is arguably a better "OMG PHANTOM!" panic button.

Or the Adas.

Its nonsense. Geth are challenging sometimes but there are no instantkills and power bubbles. They are fun to play against.

Actually the bug is that only the host has to deal with their damage reduction. It was intended for all players.

Phantoms can be annoying, the only thing I really dislike about that is that somehow doing a cartwheel causes them to ignore all damage

gotta love totally destroying them with an Asari Adept, N7 Fury or even my Destroyer, just don't target the **** when you fire the multi frags and she is as good as dead

I don't mind phamtoms, really. I actually find them quite funny because often when you shoot them, they cloak, backtrack and try to sneak around you to stab you in the back. Yeah, it might actually work if they weren't coughing like an alley cats with lugn disease while doing it.

Phantoms aren't cheap they're bugged (on-host). Permenant 90% DR. Best way to combat them is lolreegar or BW headshots from a distance.

Dragoons on the other hand, they are CHEAP! Sneaky frakkers will try to silently flank you from 3 sides and stunlock stunlock stunlock smash while phantoms pop u in the face. You can't use stims/ops packs or ED to save your skin coz stunlock cheeses all.

And Cerberus would be near impossible if all 4 players had to deal with squads of invincible flipping ninjas with goddamn handheld Widows.

That or it would just turn into demo days again with people playing Stasis sniper AA.

I can deal with the damage output and sync kills, but the on-host DR and the constant flipping bug? That's total BS. Bioware is literally punishing the host with this. It's bad enough players off host may have to deal with the visual (facade) health gate issue due to lag, or that weapons like the Graal or GPS may fire duds

But I guess if they fixed the Phantom than Cerberus would just be too easy.

Actually they only have this damage reduction when they either move ducked or cartwheel. Any power that stuns/disables them remove the damage reduction. Can be either a weapon like the Scorpion or Biotic Charge. Or the Juggernaut melee.

Came to this thread looking for phantom strategies specifically 'cause my Jugg was getting torn apart in gold by phantoms.  My forays into gold were mainly with chat room people who always pick reaper.  Now I understand why! Sure 1-at-a time phantom melee works but with two or more ... Also had some satisfaction when an Atlas came out accompanied by 4 of them and got a missle out.  Otherwise ... ugh!

Guess I'll try packing an acolyte when doing u/u/g.

If you are dealing with more than one phantom at-a-time it is difficult for a Jug.  That is where your teammates need to help you.   I have been on some bad pugs where you are the last one left with a bunch of phantoms on you - pretty much have to rocket them.  Dragoons are the thing ( other than a turret with los on you )  that give me the most problens on Gold Cerberus with the Jug.   Dragoons travel in pairs and the heavy melee does not do too much and they still whip you anyway.   I always use an assault rifle but switch to a shotgun of choice when dragoons get close.

More than one or two phantoms at a time is trouble no matter the class.

Unless you are dropping the biotic hammer.

+1

Also, since you have no mobility as a jug, bringing a gun like the falcon or the GPS to stagger enemies might be a good idea. The GPS especially, as it gets the multiplicative bonus.

Thank you.  Half the phantom solutions I see on here treat them as if you had them one on one with no other oppoents to worry about and they are easy to deal with.  Just not the case in practice.
