(The most powerful being the willpower hybrid) I'll bump it up & if ya need to ask any questions I'll help ya out.
Disclaimer; The Pure Willpower warrior you can use restricted amount of weps, (only weps without str requirements e.g. your DLC 2h or longswords) however the Hybrid has a wider variety.
But yeah it's strong enough to use in nightmare, and it will give you the auto-hit & skill large numbers you want (because hitting 0-1k only is for chumps - yes you will be auto-hitting harder than 1k)
But don't let that stop ya checking out other peoples builds too - there's some seriously interesting builds out there! :]

There isn't really a guide for it, so using either Arelex's or Legit_Sync's setup, get your rogue to disorient groups of enemies with fatiguing fog when they cluster together, then get your warrior to explode the lot of them. The main goal is to get as many enemies at once, since in terms of auto-attack damage S&S tends to be a little boring (compared to rogues anyway).
If you're playing pre-patch (100% elemental resist) or without friendly-fire, adding a walking bomb to the mix makes things even more hilarious.

Probably a bit late now, but from the sounds of it you'll probably like S&S. There's nothing close to the amount of aoe burst damage from an assault/scatter CCC.

That would explain why Arelex never got trolled by AOE's... ofcourse
