You do play games other than ME3 MP... right?

ME3 SP.
A bit of XCOM EU and FM12.
But no, most of the last 12 months I've played ME3 MP almost exclusively.
I saw some Warframe footage on Youtube and thought it looked quite boring actually.
After ME3 it's a breath of fresh air.
Grindy like BL2, but compensates beautifully for some of the many faults that ME3 has.
I'm inclined to say it's a better game, certainly it's much faster paced than ME3, which is always a good thing.
From the tutorial I was under the impression you get XP to unlock guns based on kills with a specific weapon type, much like Battlefield, instead of BL2 style random loot progression.
FWIW I haven't really touched it beyond the tutorial.

Gameplay might be better (though often faster just translates to button-mashier) but with no story and no universe to buy into, I can't see myself ever getting into it. And F2P means it will be inifinitely grindier than ME3...

I've been playing Torchlight 2 (still waiting for mod support though), a bit of Bioshock of Duty: Sky Warfare, Dead Space, Metroid Primes 1 and 2, and pretty soon Super Metroid to make BACON eat his words.
no save states either:police:
Fine, I hope you realize how easy 2:30 is gonna be to beat. I got 2:37 on my Metroid Prime speedrun and that wasn't an ideal path or anything like that. The world record is 0:32 so 2:30's gonna be nothing.

Yea but try to get a good collection rate as well, I don't play the game just to get the fastest time. Some people seem to think thats the only measurement of skill

Yeah, I watched some videos on Youtube as well, and it reminds me more of a TF2 type game than ME3. The only thing really similar is that it's PvE.
I play ME3 for the crazy, yet subtle, character/power/weapon combinations + PvE. The characters act different, sound different, feel different. No other MP is quite like ME3, even if it is just horde mode.

OK now you're making arbitrary stipulations. But fine, I'll do that too. Anything else I can or cannot do that you'd like to add in after the fact?

Actually, its not as grindy as I thought it would be. And the sheer capability of the free movement system, combined with somewhat balanced classes and fairly decently balanced armor mods ( although some commons are much much rarer than rares.

That being said, ME3 MP has consumed about 90% of my gaming time in the past year, the other 10% dedicated to Borderlands, Saints Row 2, and a bit of Portal 2.

Yeah, I tried it and it's nice and all, but it's just not the same thing. I think the effect having the ME universe behind this multiplayer has had in its success, is vastly understimated.

In case you can't tell, I rather like turn based strategy =P
Will probably check out Defiance. Might look into Warframe first since that's free, though.
Been wanting to tank again, though too many MMOs that use the holy trinity are so much like World of Warcraft that I feel like I should just be playing WoW.

Before that I played GTA IV.
Before that I was playing Ni No Kuni, only have 2 trophies left, counting the platinum. But I got bored of all the grinding.
Haven't played the mp for probably 2 months now, time flies.
