Boiware used ME3 to let fans in on the buy out from EA and the fate of ME3 was in the hands of the fans. it was sort of an inside joke that no one really caught onto.

I have worked for a number of companies and some of them have been bought  by larger corporations.
here are the 3 Main results of a buyout.

1) The Corporation buys the smaller company and completely dissolves it taking their products as their own some employees stay while most are let go.
Lets call the Scenario Red.

2) The Corporation puts the smaller company under their umbrella supplying it with funds and some guidelines. However the smaller company keeps its identity and continues to produce product under it’s own name. Of course a large share of the profits go to the corporation but it is still a symbiotic relationship.
Lets Call this Scenario Green.

3)    The Corporation takes full control of the smaller company while keeping its brand name alive.
The consumer does not know that the original company really no longer exists so they continue to buy their products but they do notice a change of quality. For example a Hamburger chain that produced
thick and Juicy hamburgers was bought and now their hamburgers are paper thin.
Lets Call this Scenario Blue

Now Most Companies hope that a merger results in the Green Scenario. But if their performance drops
they could fall to the Red or the Blue.

Has anyone noticed that ME3 really pushed for synthesis That is because their fate was in the hands of
what ending the gamers chose.

Disclaimer: Of course this is pure fiction and in no way represents the facts it was just poking a little fun at the comparisons.
