This is part of my Homeworld series, this continues during the same time as my other FanFiction, Mass Effect 3: Palaven(link: http://social.biowar.../index/16385783). Anyway sorry to bore you, here...

A Krogan, stands still with his Reeger Carbine steady in his hand, his fingers writhing through the gun, almost like a maze, the Krogan was staring into his Commander's cold eyes, the Commander shouted:

"We are the Heavy Hitters, we do what the Frogs, the Asari, the Turians.... cannot,"

He paused let out a faint sigh, staring briefly at the blackened sky, then continuing:

"Today, we stand together, clan and clan side by side.... Who will win this battle today? Us! We are fighting for our home, Commander Shepard cured our disease, now we will stand by him one... last.... TIME!!!!!"

The krogan looked at his fellow squadmates, most now filled with adredaline and smiling, shouting:

"OORAHHH!!!!"

Then the bruised but confident Commander points to a building and shouts with pride, but a screech is heard in the air as a shuttle crashes near them, all of the living Krogan grunting to get up from the impact, all in a large crater, most have large injuries, the krogan looks as another sits by the shuttle and prays, this was a rare thing that the Krogan knew he would likely never see, as he lay in the crater his arms layed out on the cliff, he hears gunshots, he peers up with fear to see a husk head fly right next to him, almost in shock the krogan looks to see another Krogan stabbing a husk with his Omni Blade, he turns to the battered Krogan in the crater. They exchange glances, as he crouches down putting his hand out, the Krogan puts on a slight smirk, then grabbing the others arm and lift up out of the crater, as rocks stumble from his head-on landing to the ground.  The Krogan gets up and picks up his Reeger Carbine only lightly scuffed, and the Krogan talks to him saying:

"Runt, we got Banshees coming in the west, support is on it's way, mostly Turians and Salarians. So get your ass up and fight, I almost died fighting with Commander Shepard, you hear me?"

The Krogan stands up straight and salutes saying, "Yes Sir, if you don't mind, can I ask your name?"

The krogan looks back with a small grin, "Name's Grunt, Urdnot Grunt. Now C'mon slacker those Banshees aren't getting older!!!"

The krogan only nods and rushes forward with the Krogan he has just met, following behind the steady paced Krogan, he lifts up his hand, and calls someone on an Omni-Tool saying only "Are you in postion?" then a large scatter of explosions follows two seconds later, as Human Bombers fly by faster than anything the Krogan has ever seen, Grunt looks back on the shocked Krogan, the Krogan can tell what Grunt was about to say and they exchange a nod. Out of nowhere a mako rushes by with a Quarian behind it shouting, "GET BACK" with fear as he stumbles, the krogan helps him up, the Quarian looks blankly, and is met by a hail of Marauder fire, they all stumble into cover as the Krogan points toward a safespot where the Quarian nods, then Grunt smiles to the Krogan, they both know that this is it, then all of a sudden a flash of red energy flies by, killing reapers as they fall, the ground rumbles, Grunt looks at him smiling and shakes the Krogan's hand only saying, "Shepard did it." Then as alliance shuttles fly by, Grunt goes into one, he salutes the Krogan, the Krogan stares at the rubble as in the distance, a glimmer of light appears. The sun is rising on Earth. A Message goes through the comm saying, "The Reapers are dead." The krogan smiles at the word "dead" and walks forward, dropping his gun and staring at a dead reaper. Wondering, "What will happen to Tuchunka?".....
