I already have the titile update but I have not played the game (I deleted my profile and started all again) so I have no saved games and no open specs, so i do not care about the bug.

But would affect at all unlockin the specs again? I'ven been waiting to start my second wlktrough till rto came out, but this is getting tiresome, so maybe screw over the RTO and play the game!
