Do you know if ME3's Singularity has the same ability to hold protected enemies as ME2's? In ME2 I use Singularity almost exclusively because of its ability to hold protected enemies. (Also, Pull moves the enemy too fast in ME2 such that they fly away from the group I am hoping to combo.)
It doesn't. Which is why Singularity is so much better than Pull in ME2.
Shepard's Singularity in ME3 is wasted by a few things:
-It doesn't hold it more. It staggers the enemy shortly, and I'm not even sure if it does this all the time.
-It moves very slow + enemies can dodge it. Pull gives you two projectiles at level 6 and moves very fast, making it much harder to dodge. Pull's cooldown is much shorter.
-Liara's Singularity is instant, it cannot be dodged. (only on accident --> enemy is already dodging at the moment Liara casts it)
-Liara's Singularity has a cooldown of 2.something seconds, it can be spammed. And again, it is instant, it does not travel.
If you hate Liara, well, that's your business, but you're missing out on the most powerful ally in the game.
