It is vague... I couldn't continue the playthrough, because it would have became a hot mess!

LOL! I'll give you guys an example on what happened:
Citadel Council: All councilors were saved back in ME1, and all of the councilors are there when presenting the Crucible plans, but what happens is that their voices are actually the "alternative" councilors' voices instead. Because this is an error, the councilors do not move their lips or perform any sort of action besides Udina himself.
Like I said, I didn't want to continue with it for any longer, you may come across very weird bugs and errors if you do make a Shepard out of Gibbed.

OK, it's been too long since I last gave an update on what is happening with John. I'm already post coup, and about to start Omega(just seems like the perfect time to do that DLC). So I'm just going to do a quick summary(for the most part).
Once John made it onto the Citadel, he decided to see the Council first before checking in on Kaidan(a meeting with the council that could help decide the galaxy's fate took precedence). The meeting didn't go well, and John was starting to regret ever saving their sorry a**es. Surprisingly, the Turian Councilor met with John and Udina after the meeting to both ask for their help and to "help" them as well. (Great, now I have to play politician). On his way out, John decided to check in with Baily and came across Al-Jilani as well. John wasn't in a good mood at this point, and almost used her as a punching bag. Instead, he restrained himself and told her that she had problems before heading to the hospital to check on Kaidan.
As was expected, Kaidan was in bad shape(medically, not physically). At least John was able to recruit Dr. Chakwas while at the Hospital. He also ran into Dr. Michel, who was assigned as Kaidan's doctor(John couldn't ask for a better doctor). Knowing that Kaidan was in good hands put John at ease. On his way back to the Normandy, he saw a reporter grilling one of the soldiers assigned to the Normandy. The reporter asked to board the Normandy so she could get the best stories. Being in a better mood, John thought "WTH, why not?" She could help bolster the war effort by inspiring people to take action and increasing the recruitment rate. He told her so once she settled in on the Normandy.
Now for a quick summary
John headed towards Palaven to recruit the Turian Primarch for the war effort, and recruited Garrus in the process as well. When Garrus told him about the new Primarch(Fedorian was KIA), John liked what he heard, and was not disappointed when he finally met him. Afterwards, John went to Eden Prime and recruited Javik, played diplomat at Annos Basin(at least he got to meet up with Wrex), headed to Surkesh to acquire the cured females(also met Padok Wiks in the process), had to deal with the Racni again on Uttuku(he left the breeder to die and saved Aralakh company. It was also good to see Grunt was still in action), saved Victus' son on Tuchanka and helped him disable a bomb, avenged Tarquin's death by routing a Cerberus position and destroying a Cerberus cruiser, and cured the Genophage.
As for John's thoughts/feelings about the Genophage, he was conflicted. He believed the Genophage was necessary to end the Krogan rebellions. But he disapproved of bolstering/hindering evolution through artificial means, that it should be allowed to take its course naturally. He also didn't like the idea of dooming the Krogan to extinction. With that said, he was still unsure of curing the Genophage because he didn't want to re-enact the Rebellions. While he liked and trusted Wrex(and eventually Eve as well), most of the Krogan that he met were quite violent and would more than likely want revenge for the Genophage after the Reaper War. Still, he didn't see any other way to get Krogan and Turian support for the war since Wrex would not budge until the Genophage was cured. However, before heading to the Shroud, the Salarian Dalatrass contacted John and offered him another way to gain Krogan support while not curing the Genophage. He was sorely tempted, and almost shot Padok Wiks on Tuchanka to prevent the cure's release. But in the end, John could not pull the trigger, and tossed the gun aside in disgust. He just couldn't betray Wrex, and he also liked and respected Wiks. Besides, EDI also brought up the fact that the Krogan were demilitarized and had no Warships. They were practically dependent on the other races to transport them across the Galaxy. This fact eased some of John's worries, yet he also hoped that his decision wouldn't come back to bite him and the Galaxy in the a** after the Reaper War.
Afterwards, John headed to the Citadel on Valern's request. Apparently, Udina was doing some shady business, and Valern wanted to discuss this with John. However, once he reached the Citadel, Cerberus was attempting a Coup. While shooting his way through the Citadel and killing any Cerberus mook in his way, he finally found Valern. Unfortunately, some Cerberus f***wit almost assassinated Valern as well. Thane was able to prevent the assassination, but it also cost him his life(and despite this being my fourth ME3 play-through, that car scene still p***es me off). After killing more Cerberus mooks, John finally ran into the Council and had a stand off with Kaidan. Thankfully, John was able to talk Kaidan down, and Kaidan prevented Udina from killing the Asari Councilor.
Now John is going to help Aria retake Omega so he can strike back at Cerberus.

Last night I aborted my plan to romance Ashley for the first time in ME3 fairly early while she was in the hospital; not because I didn't like the content so far, but just because I can't see my Shepard with anyone other than Tali at this point. Plus, she ninja-manced me in ME1 on my supposed "no ME1 romance playthrough" so screw it.
That also happened to me on this play-through, which is why it was ashes to ashes on Virmire
.
And I must say, I'm pleased with Tali's romance content so far.

Darya's snails pace galactic exploration continues. We have golf tournaments this week. We left off with Virmire and Liara reading Shepard's mind again, and speaking with the Council. Next Shepard decided it was time to handle some business dealings she had pending and took out a couple of slavers. First we went to the Dis cluster, and then the Han cluster, and finally to Amaranthine.

Pressley, you're going to be dead in a few months. Forget about Ash's upgrades. I'm going to be dead in a few months thanks to that knucklehead pilot up there. Let's bang, okay?

Then after that mission was finished she stop off to find some Justicar. She was annoyed by this woman but she played along nicely with her. She put on a fake smile, when she told her this was a honor that she signed on too her crew.
So now off too see about Tail on Hatestrom, when I get home.

Linda Shepard
I talk with Miranda about the attempted coup and that Kai Leng was involved. She was surprised to hear his name. She also mentioned that her father might be working with Cerberus and is after her sister, Oriana. Why would he be working with Cerberus? She has to leave since she's being hunted by Cerberus. I hope she stays safe.
Its hard to believe I'm on the Citadel. I had no idea it was so big. And all these primitives walking around talking with one another. The Commander comes by to say a few words. Whats that? An Hanar. To bad we didn't teach it to talk better. I thank the Commander for coming by and head to the Normandy.
Boy its hard keeping track of my students. Ahh. There she is. Shepard asks about the students and says that I look good. We get up and head to the dance floor. This is embarassing. Shepard can't dance. I hope no one is watching me dance with her. She may want to get some dance lessons after the war is over.
I like the music. People dancing and having a good time. And I'm sharing a drink with Shepard. She has helped me and I respect that. Its good I can call her a friend. I feel more focused with our mission than I ever have. Thank you Shepard.
What is it with all these people dancing? I would if I could. I ask Shepard about dating the ships AI. Oh crap. I didn't say that, did I? She must think I'm a weirdo. In fact I feel like a weirdo for asking that question. I need to get with a real female. But first I will drown my sorrows.
I should never of accepted this job. Too much crap to deal with and these bounty hunters are useless. The Volus Ambassador claims that a Turain colony will be attacked and that he's working with Shepard. Well that just bites. I listen to him and kill the bounty hunters just as Shepard walks through the door. She convinces him to reveal the colony and promises to give her the Volus bombing fleet. We exchange a few words and like before, when we were after the collectors, she gives me a hug. The next time I see her I have to ask why she hugs me.
Relaxing here on the Presidium is so refreshing. It gives me a few moments to forget about the war. I see Shepard approach and we start talking about life and what we might do after the war is over. She leaves to run some errands.
I can't imagine what my sister is going through. Learning her husband was killed in action. Shepard comes by to pay her respects and I walk to my sister to comfort her.
Ow. OWW. Damn it never hurt like this before when I had my other tattoos done. Here comes Lola. I tell her I'm getting an N7 tattoo and that we should get matching ones. She laughed at the comment and left.
So this is the Commander Shepard I've heard about. She mentions that she like to trade for my combat medical supplies and that the supplies she has would benefit those here on the docks. We come to an agreement that works for both groups.

Well, I managed to finish the Rannoch Arc in a day, it was a very painful experience, but I got through it. I then managed to play through the first two missions of the Leviathan DLC, then detoured to Thessia, Horizon and Onotarom, back to Leviathan to finish it off and then managed to play through the whole of the Citadel DLC yesterday. That Relay Defence game is still complete BS, I'll have to use gibbed to get Shotgun ULM V it seems.
Anyway, all I have left is Cronos Station and Earth, the point of no return, but I'm not sure when I'll actually finish the game. I've played ME3 for 49 hours already and I'm tired now. I'll probably get it done over the weekend.

Yeah, I had to force myself to play through ME2 at times, especially through the loyalty missions, some of them are awful(I'm looking at you Tali, Samara, Thane and Grunt). The Overlord and Hammerhead DLC's are an utter pain to go through on replays, the N7 missions are hot garbage and planet mining is the worst mini game ever created.
ME2 has a lot of problems man.

Not to summon the spectre of osbornep, but Tali's loyalty mission might be my favorite. A lot of info about the quarians, Shepard using his talk-fu, and some good character moments for Tali.
