After selling Legion, I should just have Joker's bit then Suicide to do.
After that it's a few loose ends (invite Liara, get Kelly to dance) then Arrival..
And then.. shed loads of alterations to ME3 followed by pissing about with Lazaus and Gibbed to get Amy to look like she does in ME2. Then we can crack on.
Was this the: "how much can we make Miri suffer?" mission?
Hey, he was born in one of these!
Shep: Uhhh, Grunt...is there a reason for floating around in my fish tank?
Grunt: I got homesick.

She did seem to die a lot for some reason (about 4 times I think). The most amusing thing was Tali running off to fight two Scions on her own. Brave girl!
Tali and Miranda are very photogenic together though, you have to admit!
Miranda did seem to get surrounded by husks quite a fair bit..

When destroying the core I had to keep rescuing her with shockwave.
Shep: Uhhh, Grunt...is there a reason for floating around in my fish tank?
Grunt: I got homesick.
Shepard: Uh... where did my fish go?
Grunt: Got hungry. I figured that since you have an aquarium VI to feed your fish, you're probably too lazy to care about them anyways... so I ate them.
Shepard: *Crosses her arms* Uh huh. So you just assumed I didn't care about my fish?
Grunt: Don't get all angry with me, Shepard. You should be lucky your hamster is still there.
After the Coup attempt, John decided to strike back at Cerberus by helping Aria take back Omega. In the beginning, John was mostly compliant with Aria. He found some of her actions to be a little too extreme and manipulative, but he respected her nonetheless, and he also had no interest in changing her. Besides, this was Omega, not the Citadel. Being ruthless is a requirement to run a large criminal organization and to keep it in check.
When John first met Nyreen, he was a little suspicious of her, and wasn't surprised when she disappeared before they continued on to recruit the Talons. At first, John didn't have much of a problem with using the Talons as Cannon fodder(he didn't have much respect for street gangs). Yet he was certainly surprised to discover that Nyreen had assumed control of the Talons and turned them into a vigilante group of sorts. John thought she was a little too naive for her own good, but grew to respect her abilities as time went on. She reminded him of Garrus in some ways.
As they fought their way through the mines and killed some more Cerberus mooks and adjutants(you guys are some ugly motherf***ers), they finally reached the main reactor so they could disable the force fields. Unfortunately, Petrovsky expected this and trapped them before they could reach the controls. John and Nyreen had to hold off a few waves of mechs before Aria could force a hole through the field so John could continue on towards the controls.
Once John reached the controls, he tried to divert power away from the fields instead of completely shutting down the reactor to prevent any civilian casualties. Halfway through however, he decided to shut it down anyways. He didn't like sacrificing the civilians, but he couldn't risk the lives of Aria and Nyreen or the mission. If they failed, than Cerberus would maintain control of Omega and everyone on the station would suffer. John also needed whatever resources he could get for the war.
When they finally reached Afterlife, Nyreen sacrificed herself to protect the civilians from the Adjutants, and Aria tore some Cerberus troopers apart in retribution. However, she also became reckless and got trapped when they entered Afterlife. John was able to free her, and she continued her rampage(John cloaked, sat back, munched on some popcorn, and enjoyed the show. "Where the hell were you Shepard?" "Me? I was...uh...back there giving you covering fire. I'm a sniper remember?")
Eventually, Petrovsky gave up and surrendered. John almost let Aria have her revenge, but decided that Petrovsky could prove valuable alive and stopped her short. She was less than pleased, but John told her the Alliance could use whatever intel Petrovsky could provide(he didn't want the Alliance or Council to be caught with their pants down again). In the end, Aria didn't know what to think about John, and he was sorely tempted to f*** with her. But he decided to tell her what he thought of some of her actions, and that wasting people's lives would come back to bite her in the a**. There was a difference between lives well spent and lives wasted.
Okay, not sure what happened between yesterday and today. Yesterday I kept dying trying to recruit Jack. Today I recruited Garrus without any trouble and got some tank-bred Krogan with little difficulty. Still wish I could recruit Okeer. Okeer and Mordin could science up some real trouble.
Also, you guys have some sweet-looking screenshots.

I can't 'like' it or I would. I picked my favorite picture out. I'm glad he survived my suicide mission. I took renegade-y options whenever I could with him in ME2; dialogues and everything else. First time I've ever done that. It was different, almost that we felt the same way about our enemies, more in tune. Like the respect was more noticeable.

I wasn't too sure if Squadmates could hold some of the special weapons like the Revenant.... If you could tell, I didn't have a heavy weapon on my back...I got too weapons happy! But yeah, I actually really do like this shot, although, another shot would have been better too. ME2's flycam is very fast and annoying, and I can't seem to get rid of all of my HUDs during combat.

I didn't notice that, I thought the mattock was the arc projector, lol. Grunt's awesomeness is distracting.
. I like that you took Legion. I've never done that.
it seems you can only carry 5 weapons to battle.I didn't notice that, I thought the mattock was the arc projector, lol. Grunt's awesomeness is distracting.

Ah okay, gotcha. Seems a little odd that ME2 decides the heavy weapon is the first to go.
Hey I can 'like' again.
it's usually the way they're ordered. Heavy weapons was the last one listed on each class, and I believe that's why it was excluded instead. I decided to get rid of my Sniper Rifle instead. I don't snipe in ME2 much at all. My squad and I are so OP'd now, because our Shields recover almost instantaneously.Ah okay, gotcha. Lol, that's pretty cool, and yeah I agree about sniping. I found the mattock to be a good enough long range weapon.
The problem is that ME2 and 3 pretty much shrank the battlefields. In ME2 and 3, my Mattock or Harrier could pick off every enemy at every distance on the map. In ME1, sometimes enemies are too far off for even the best AR's and pistols to deal with properly. Like that mission where Elanos Haliat leaves you in a trap. It's awesome to hit them from an elevated position with a sniper rifle. Of course, it doesn't do me much good, being a Vanguard. Ashley and Garrus make for a great squad there.
Although there were missions in ME2 where, if you didn't have an accurate longe range weapon, that could be a pain in the ass. Like the collector ship, or the reaper IFF. Anyplace there were scions or worse. And of course, Garrus' LM is made for sniping.
No sniping in ME2? Really? I snipe all the time. If I am playing a Soldier I always go the Widow route. For everyone else I get the Viper. Especially if you are not a Soldier a sniper rifle is a fine addition to your arsenal for its very high AP multipliers. There are any number of situations where a sniper rifle is a good choice. If anything, the battlefields in ME3 are the ones that are too constricted to really make good use of a sniper rilfe. About the only time I really use one in ME3 is on the Citadel dock against Cerberus and a few spots on the Presidium.

I dunno, I guess maybe for me it depends on what class I'm playing. If I'm mainly power based I don't snipe.
I have to have a sniper rifle on me, even on my vanguard lol. I can't run ME without having the option to snipe because I love the feeling I get from securing a clean head shot. Before you say I should play as a soldier, I already did and am currently on my vanguard, where I feel like a totally versatile bad***. Close range? No problem, nova the **** out of them. Chilling on a balcony? Screw you, I'll snipe your sorry *** ![]()
