I did Miranda's loyalty mission and recruited Thane. Also, just bought the alternate appearance packs for ME2. I like Garrus's, Miranda, Tali's and Grunt's new armors.
EDIT: Changed Tali's name from what I originally had, which was wrong.

Sweet Jesus, reading this thread makes me so tempted to play ME2 and 3 again, but I still have to get through the Bioshock games. I've finished the 1st one and I'm currently half way through the 2nd but Mass Effect keeps calling me. I also still need to play the Metro games and with the ever looming release of Titanfall I am in major trouble right now.

Damn you Mass Effect!

I wanted to play the suicide mission just for old times sake, and then try another ME3 play through to see if time (about 7 months) and the Citadel DLC I picked up on sale could erase some of the bitter taste.

Well, I then realized I had lost my flash drive with all my ME2 saves, so I decided to play the entire game again. I regret nothing, as I am now rediscovering why ME2 is one of my favorite games ever.

I played the Citadel DLC for the first time a few days ago. I LOVED it.

Also was the first time in the game I used all my medigel in a single boss fight.

ME 2 still holds up well even four years later.

It really does.  Sure the combat is a little clunky, but the story, pacing, gameplay, characters, and even graphics have held up phenomenally.  Just as much a blast to play now as it was years ago.

The combat may have improved in ME3, I would not call combat in ME2 clunky. I quite like it. Now ME1, OTOH, is a different story.

I actually prefer the combat in ME2. Having every enemy with some form of protection on Insanity and overall a less powerful Shepard with squad makes the game more exciting in my opinion. Although I do miss the rolling.

Edit: I also miss the simplicity of launching enemies into space with lift+Throw combos.

There is nothing wrong with the enemies in ME2 (Except Scions, I have an irrational hatred of Scions).  However, not being able to dash from cover to cover, rolling, clumsily trying to jump over a barrier, and the limited dashing are all things that I took for granted in ME3 and are difficult to get reaquainted with.

I don't think any hatred of Scions can be considered irrational.

I never really found them too bothersome outside of the multiplayer in ME3. Then again I play with the player damage modifier in the Arena which pretty much allows you to mow down every single enemy force in fractions of a second.

I finished the Thessia mission a short time ago and realized the mission isn't that bad if you put it on mute.

Killed the queen on Utuluk. Urdnot Dagg died giving us time to escape.

Sabotaged the cure on Tuchanka with the help of Padok Wiks. Wiks has fled to some remote colony where he will help refugees from the war.

Picked up a million fetch quests on the citadel, post-coup.
Kept Zaeed from killing a volus ambassador. Remembered him from Me1. Wished Zaeed could shoot him. Volus bombing fleet too important.
Kept Samara from shooting herself at an ardat-yakshi monastery. Thought Falere was kinda hot. For a second. Liara was with me. Should have left her on the Normandy.
Helped Jacob in getting a bunch of Cerberus scientist defectors off-planet. Nice little "Planet Hoth" easter egg with the evacuating shuttles. Wanted to punch Gavin Archer. Couldn't. Damn.
Scanned a few planets. Forgot where the fuel depot was in one system. Played chicken with the reapers. Won... er, got away.
Went back to the citadel. Dr. Chakwas nags me everytime I talk to her these days. Something about upgraded medical supplies. Time to get her off my back. Shot some bottles at the presidium rooftops with Garrus. Let him win. He's funny when he boasts.
Called bull**** on James' flirting when he was getting a tattoo. Traded for the medical supplies.
Told Liara I loved her.
Can't decide where to go next. Investigate Leviathan. Help Aria get Omega back. Catch up with the quarian fleet. If I go to the geth dreadnought and then leave the system is Tali available as a squadmate, say if I want to go do Leviathan next?
Edit: spelling.

Falere may be hot, or you may have just been under the influence of an Ardat-Yakshi. Good thing Liara was with you or else.
If you really don't like Archer you can get him to kill himself.
Once you get Tali on the Normandy she is available as a squadmate (assuming she doesn't die on Rannoch).

Archer should live with what he'd done. I just wanted to punch him. And thanks, geth dreadnought it is.

As for Falere... totally worth it.

Screw Bioshock and the rest of my backlog, Mass Effect 2 and 3, here I come! Hmm, I think I'll use my Femshep save this time, my Sheploo needs a rest.

I've already finished Bioshock 1 and enjoyed it very much, but I'm currently half way through Bioshock 2 and it's getting boring. I'm sick and tired of fighting spilcers, they act in the same moronic and suicidal way all the bloody time. I tolerated it in the first game because I thought they would improve on it in the sequel, but nope, it's exactly the same. It's actually even worse since now that I'm playing as a Big Daddy I pretty much just tear through the splicers with ease, battles with other Big Daddies and Big Sisters are trivialized by the "I win" weapon known as the Drill. I've haven't even died once yet.

It also doesn't help that the levels are so damn big. I usually advocate devs creating big areas in games for us to explore, but these ones could have been cut down, so many passageways lead to nothing but more splicers for me to annihilate. There is some good though, enemies are not as bullet spongy as they were in the first one(except Brute splicers), the weapon and plasmid mechanics are fantastic and the hacking mechanics are also vastly improved, but dear lord, the splicers are a pain and so dull.

Anyway, I've gone way off topic now, back to Mass Effect.

-Yelled at the Migrant Feelt Admirals and proved Tali innocent of treason without evidence.
-Caught Harkon and talked Garrus down from shooting Sidonis
-Had dinner with Kelly just so I could get her to feed my fish for me so I won't have to remember to go to my cabin after every dang mission to feed them myself.
-Figured I'd do a bunch of side quests and scanning after doing the loyalty missions and the suicide mission.
-Still can't decide if I want to stay loyal to Liara since I romanced her in ME1, romance Tali, or romance Miranda.

Just finished another playthrough of ME3 and did something I never done before. Instead of moving forward to shoot the husks and Mr. Shields, I turned around and moved away from the beam. After about 15 seconds femshep collapses giving me a criticall failure mission screen. That gave me a good laugh.

I will now do a new game plus and see if I can get my ems below 900.

Finished all my loyalty missions and N7 missions. Time to wrap up the Shadow Broker, Overlord, IFF, Legion loyalty, Collector base and Arrival. :D
