EDIT: Changed Tali's name from what I originally had, which was wrong.

I played the Citadel DLC for the first time a few days ago. I LOVED it.justafan wrote...
I wanted to play the suicide mission just for old times sake, and then try another ME3 play through to see if time (about 7 months) and the Citadel DLC I picked up on sale could erase some of the bitter taste.
Well, I then realized I had lost my flash drive with all my ME2 saves, so I decided to play the entire game again. I regret nothing, as I am now rediscovering why ME2 is one of my favorite games ever.

ME 2 still holds up well even four years later.

It really does. Sure the combat is a little clunky,KotorEffect3 wrote...

I actually prefer the combat in ME2. Having every enemy with some form of protection on Insanity and overall a less powerful Shepard with squad makes the game more exciting in my opinion. Although I do miss the rolling.cap and gown wrote...
The combat may have improved in ME3, I would not call combat in ME2 clunky. I quite like it. Now ME1, OTOH, is a different story.justafan wrote...

There is nothing wrong with the enemies in ME2 (Except Scions, I have an irrational hatred of Scions). However, not being able to dash from cover to cover, rolling, clumsily trying to jump over a barrier, and the limited dashing are all things that I took for granted in ME3 and are difficult to get reaquainted with.

I don't think any hatred of Scions can be considered irrational.

Especially in ME3!

Picked up a million fetch quests on the citadel, post-coup.
Kept Zaeed from killing a volus ambassador. Remembered him from Me1. Wished Zaeed could shoot him. Volus bombing fleet too important.
Kept Samara from shooting herself at an ardat-yakshi monastery. Thought Falere was kinda hot. For a second. Liara was with me. Should have left her on the Normandy.
Helped Jacob in getting a bunch of Cerberus scientist defectors off-planet. Nice little "Planet Hoth" easter egg with the evacuating shuttles. Wanted to punch Gavin Archer. Couldn't. Damn.
Scanned a few planets. Forgot where the fuel depot was in one system. Played chicken with the reapers. Won... er, got away.
Went back to the citadel. Dr. Chakwas nags me everytime I talk to her these days. Something about upgraded medical supplies. Time to get her off my back. Shot some bottles at the presidium rooftops with Garrus. Let him win. He's funny when he boasts.
Called bull**** on James' flirting when he was getting a tattoo. Traded for the medical supplies.
Told Liara I loved her.
Can't decide where to go next. Investigate Leviathan. Help Aria get Omega back. Catch up with the quarian fleet. If I go to the geth dreadnought and then leave the system is Tali available as a squadmate, say if I want to go do Leviathan next?
Edit: spelling.

Archer should live with what he'd done. I just wanted to punch him. And thanks, geth dreadnought it is.cap and gown wrote...

Falere may be hot, or you may have just been under the influence of an Ardat-Yakshi. Good thing Liara was with you or else.
If you really don't like Archer you can get him to kill himself.
Once you get Tali on the Normandy she is available as a squadmate (assuming she doesn't die on Rannoch).

Screw Bioshock and the rest of my backlog, Mass Effect 2 and 3, here I come! Hmm, I think I'll use my Femshep save this time, my Sheploo needs a rest.
