Come to Thessia, they said. It'll be fun, they said.

Started ME3 from fresh new ME1+ME2 import. God all my weapons and equipement sucks... I already bought every upgrade possible on my previous continuous save, now back to square zero... Gonna grind Armax Arena for cash
DJ TienSu told Joker to fly to Therum and ordered Wrex and Kaidan to suit up. This is what happened after a long drive in the Mako:

Liara told the crew about how she discovered that the Protheans were not the first, and that they just as us climbed on top of the ruins of those before us. TienSu told Liara about the Prothean Beacon and the Reapers.
Contact with the Council was made. They were a little annoying.
Now it's time for Tiensu to get to know the crew a bit better, and see if the requisitions officer has some music for sale. Then fly to the Citadel and hit the gym.

Shepard woke up as a chick. So yea...a whole new outlook on life.
Tatyana Shepard (codename Pyro) decided it was time to serve some BBQ. Gotta love dem fire explosions. (Area Incinerate -> Chain Overload)

Nice. The only time I've done the chain overload is on my engineer insanity run. I specced my drone to spread out his electrical attack and we just zapped everything.
Started another playthrough with Jonathan Sheperrrr...

The Combat Drone cannot set up Tech explosions, but it can detonate a primed that is primed with incinerate, overload, cryo, and etc... besides biotics, only if your CD is spec'd to detonate upon death.

That's what I did. Sent the drone off to find an enemy then chain overloaded the first bunch he came across. Sometimes I let Garrus do it. If he wasn't too busy doing those calibrations sniping things.
Took care of a batch of three or four loyalty missions in ME2, along with the ice planet and Prothean artifact sections of Firewalker.
Heading to Tuchanka next.

The Drone has a higher chance of dying on higher difficulties. Giving yourself(if you aren't playing Engineer), and your squadmates combat drone against the Geth makes them look stupid, even Banshees and Brutes become dumb. Lol! The Drone's overload doesn't prime though which makes it less effective.

That was my insanity run. I set the drone to explode when it died, and put as little as I could into its shields so it died fast. Then I went after as many power recharge bonuses as I could, and just kept throwing the drones out there. They were fantastic for flushing something out of cover.
Haha so hows you like my head canon
Garrus isn't alive in this playthrough. I miss him already. I wanted to have that post-tuchanka sabotage conversation with him but a seeker swarm carried him away. Blame Miranda.
@von uber: no shots of the students up on the balcony firing off biotics at the Cerberus troopers?

Garrus didn't die, his fans came and carried him away! ![]()

Just wait until I get Traynor in the shower.. oh yes...
Some shots from testing.. censored for now ![]()

I can't seem to get the timing right on the screenshots very often. I always get the before and after of the power effect. ![]()
Can you set the delay between screenshots to less than a second in fraps?

I had a look, but it was hard to get a decent angle for it to be worthwhile. I died quite a lot during that bit as slowmo cam sometimes locks you in place (slowmo is useful to get the different effects as they go off) and I eventually just got bored ![]()

It's much better if you just mess around with the coalesce file. You can make the game go at half speed, 2x, or 1/4 of regular speed. Also, you can pause the game in mid combat or conversation to set up shots. That would be the best way to actually do this without another program in the mix. I pin most of my keybinds to the numpad when it comes to gamebreaking commands.

Yeah, I have F11 mapped to 'players only' for example. I have freecam enabled for everything, which is why most of my conversation screens are taken from different angles than the usual (sometimes with amusing results).

I think the only things we can't take a shot of are cinematic scenes, 'cause all you get is a black screen picture. "playersonly" is mapped to my "numpadzero." Since my laptop utilizes the key "FN," it gets overly complicated to use the "F" keys.
