This is a good reason to save the cure data. It forces you to shoot Mordin. You can't wimp out and have him go off and work on the Crucible. You either kill him and sabotage the cure, or you let him release the cure. There is no third way.

I am flying through the series right now. To update, I'm now just about to do Horizon in ME2 with my engineer. She's kicking ass, my soldier last playthrough felt more difficult.

Just another update. Instead of having 85% power damage, I now have 95% power damage. Before going to Earth I was able to purchase and other piece of armor to give me 10% more power damage.

 

I look at both LIara and Shepard. Both with their own thoughs as we head to Earth. I'm thinking of my mother and sisters, Shepard thinking about Traynor. Still can't believe that. And Liara is probably thinking of Thessia. Just befor ewe land, Shepard tells us to get tough and kill whatever is in the way. Not a problem. The door opens and already the uglies are firing at us. The shuttle gets hit so Steve needs to land it as quickly as possible. We fight more uglies. I love this sniper rifle. I should rename it "The Asher". That sounds chessy. Excellent. The Hades Cannon is taken down and a shuttle picks us up.

 

At the forward operating base, I explain to the Commander that everyone here considers her to be a hero and seeing her will give them more of a reason to fight harder. She leaves to find Anderson. I take one last look around and I too go see Anderson. I see the Commander talking with her squad.  I meet up with Anderson who coordinating with other battalions on what to do. Shepard walks in and Anderson explains the plan to get to the beam.

 

The beam doesn't look to far. With Ashley, myself and the Commander, we head towards the beam. Ashley is blowing up the heads of the uglies like usual, while SDhepard and I take care of the rest. There are a lot of the uglies and it seems they're more aggressive. We make it to the missiles to learn that we have to wait a few minutes for them to be calibrated. Fire. Yes. The destroyer is dead. Cool. Now all we have to do is get to the beam.

 

This is not good . Running to the beam while a reaper fires at us. Oh crap. Ashley is wounded and I am slightly injured. The Normandy comes to take us away and I watch as the Commander runs to the beam.

 

Good. The Normandy wasn't shot at. Wonder why? Oh sh*t! I hope shes not dead. Good. I see the Commander get up, though she looks badly injured. She makes it to the beam. And whats this? Who was that second person going up the beam? I could swear it looked like Shepard. Now my turn to go up the beam. WEEEE! I make it up to the Citadel. I have a few bumps and bruises, but otherwise I'm ok. I call Shepard, who sounds tired, says she's ok and able to move. She had no idea who I was talking about when I mentioned another person went up the beam behind her. What's that? Looks like a control panel.

 

Look who it is. I'm amazed Shepard made it this far. But I have her under my control. And Anderson, the pathetic fool he is trying to tell me the reapers are controlling me. Yeah right. I explain that this is the way for Humanity to evolve by controlling the reapers. Shepard are you trying to talk me out of controlling them? No. I'm in control! I can't have her ruining my plans. I shoot Anderson and  uhh.  There...Earth. I wish you could see it like I do..Shepard.

 

What is this that is front of me? And about time my clone joins me. I'm glad she saw reason when I spoke to her back in the Citadel Archives. We learn the thing is the Catalyst and it controls the reapers. We listen to its crap about why it does what it does. Stupid machine. When it mentions destroy, the clone says she will destroy them giving me time to leave. I call for a shuttle and thank the clone who inturn thanks me for giving her a second chance.As the shuttle gets back to the Normandy, a red light can be seen.

 

I walk out of the Normandy with Samantha and look at Joker to see if he knew where we were. After we look over the Normandy and found no damage, we headed back to Earth to start the clean up.

Tonight Amy ran a few errands:

Had the worse night in MP since I was a noob. Got stabbed by phantoms, grabbed by banshees and kept getting downed by damned geth rocket troopers. Aargh!!

 

So I switched to SP and had a very productive couple of hours.

 

Lets see, .. I boarded a Geth dreadnought, went into the Geth consensus, rescued a Quarian Admiral and then fought a Reaper on foot.

 

After that I scanned some planets for assets and then I was going to head to the Citadel for some much needed shore leave.  I hear there's a seriously great sushi place down in the wards, I mean french guy at the door serious! (but I'll save that for later)

Didn't kill Korlack  ... This is the conversation you have with Zaeed down on the docks after the whole Korlack thing is done. I even got the Volus Bombing Fleet out of it, heh.

Lol, I wonder which membership I should do. I hate paying for mods... if it doesn't hurt the immersion, I could care less about it... :-/
