Slightly off topic, but lately I've been playing Xenonauts and Skyrim and today was considering finishing up my ME3 run. I've got Leviathan left to do along with the party but I don't think I can bring myself to do it. I've got at least 20 runs through by this point. I still like reading and participating in the forums but damn do I need some new ME. I think I've played out the trilogy at this point.

The cycle must continue. It is inevitable.

Femshep really got the short end of the stick in ME3. Her only straight options are Kaidan and Garrus (unless you count as romance getting James drunk enough to have sex with her), while dudeshep can have Miranda, Jack, Ashley, Tali and Liara. The gay options are balanced, but they're only two. I have no issue playing the game without romancing anybody (I did it in ME1 an ME2), but the difference in number of options is ridiculous.

Garrus is one of my favourite characters and his romance is very sweet, but doing it with my canon Shep feels a bit like incest. As I keep on repeating since I played the Omega DLC, Aria might have been an interesting match

There's another one we forgot if you count Javik - "There's another thing you primitives are good at."

I've been killing dragons. Still surprisingly fun. And found a few side quests I'd never encountered before (skyrim really does have a lot of content).

It's as if the game is punishing you for not romancing someone. It's a good thing my FemShep has Liara around. Gotta keep it between the primitives.

Maybe Javik already found love. There could be other reasons he washes his hands constantly.

That only happens depending on what choices you make during the party. I don't believe it happens if you chose the party to be relaxing. The same can be said about James.

Tried adding in Grunt during the CItadel Arc, but I guess the game won't let me since he has no involvement during the entire arc. My game just loads into a black screen.

I suppose Prothean love goes something like this:

"Any who wanted to oppose me could do so, none of them succeeded"

mass-effect-3-alternate-ending-petition.

I'm thinking of starting another playthrough of Mass Effect, but I really can't be bothered playing Mass Effect 1 again, I've done and seen it all.

I think I'm probably going to just buy the Mass Effect 2 Genesis comic, and then use gibbed to flesh out the game with side quest material from Mass Effect 1, like Conrad, Chorban etc.

I know that in the latest iteration of the Mass Effect 2 version of Gibbed, you can change things in a save without having to start a new game plus, so I'll probably pull up one of my previous Mass Effect 1 saves, and use it to find out which boxes to tick for Mass Effect 1 in gibbed, so that I can have Mass Effect 1 side characters and emails in Mass Effect 2.

Continuing with Jenna Shepard.  Went to Eden Prime and fought more of the dumb dumbs. Javik is now a squadmate. Sent Terminix to deal with the c**kroaches. Too bad Urdnot Dagg can't live. I like him.  Rescued some ex-Ceberus scientists. Spoke with Jacob. Again fought more of the dumb dumbs.

Will be going to fight the tin cans with the flashlights later. Until than, I will play some Skyrim.

Self-love doesn't count. Although my next Normandy conversation with him is gonna be awkward.

Giving "probing uranus" a meaning that Shepard doesn't seem to like. Alright, bad mental image.

Haven't played today. Spent a hour trying to get my Shepard's neck seam under control because it was driving me crazy.

Hmm, I'm currently watching the Genesis comic and it isn't as bad as I thought it would be, it explained the Mass Effect 1 story very well. Femshep's description of Liara is lolworthy though.

Once the comic is over I'll take my save to gibbed and flesh it out with Mass Effect 1 side content.

I'm going for the max amount of possible war assets in this playthrough, I've never done that before.

Last night, I played through some of the Leviathan DLC and rescued Ann. Finally unlocked that conspiracy theory achievement I had not done in prior game.  This time instead of stopping Ann near the end, I had Shepard press harder on her, to have her experience everything I could possibly have her do by taking those two renegade prompts much to Vega dismay.   :P   I still didn't take that creepy head back to the Normandy.

I also played through Sur'kesh and retrieved the female.  I brought, Garrus and Liara with me.  Felt like old times.  God, how I missed having Mordin on the Normandy!  Not the same VO Mordin but still gave me a few chuckles and sadness knowing Mordin will never get to study his seashells on the beach when curing the genophage but you know, it had to be him. Someone would get it wrong.

Thought this line was funny... "Mordin's mouth runs faster than a frog on a hot rock in summer."  totally love these kind of saying.  Brilliant.

I had one conversation with Steve that I didn't remember or forgotten about on the docking bay with the alliance ships passing by but again will only have Shepard be friends with him and take him up on the outing at purgatory but after I lock Shepard's romance with Miranda this time around.  My Shepard just doesn't swing that way, Steve. :P

Today's agenda... Tuchanka... really want to wait to have Ashley and Tali back in the group before taking on the fake rachni ****** and Eden Prime for Javik. But won't get Ash until after the coup.  Hmm... trying to mix the game up a bit.

Lastly, my Shepard stands about equal in paragon and renegade points maybe a tiny more renegade.

Screw it, trying to flesh out my Femshep with Mass Effect 1 side content is impossible. There's way too many values to change, and I've had to restart over a few times because I messed up, Bioware made the import mechanic way too complicated.

I'll just grit my teeth and play through Mass Effect 1 again. As much as I dislike the game, I'll enjoy playing through it more than I'll enjoy mucking about with Gibbed, especially since it's likely I would mess up the save and it wouldn't import properly into Mass Effect 3.

This might help you achieve that goal

Yeah, I know most of this, but the promoting an MP character and the Mass Effect:Infiltrator stuff I'm going to skip, since I want SP assets only. I've avoided promoting my MP characters because my WA number would be super bloated.

Well, if you skip the crew dialogue, except for the romance, and, if desired, to do the "loyalty missions", and a few side quests that carry over, like Conrad, it shouldn't take more than 10 hours max. I have done any number of speed runs like this just to set things up for ME2.

Too bad the comic is soooo incomplete. Like assuming the colony of Feros was destroyed. And Conrad is the biggest problem since you miss out on a discount if he isn't around.

I would recommend using the Pyjak glitch on Eletania to pump up your paragon points, and the Lorik Quin glitch to pump up your renegade points since you will probably end up missing many opportunities to earn morality points in a speed run.

I usually manage do a full and thorough play through of Mass Effect 1 in about 16 hours, which is tolerable. I stick the difficulty on easy, use the experience glitch on Liara's mission so that I can easily reach level 60 in one play through, and I max Charm and Intimidate so that I can pass all the reputation checks on the side quests and main missions.

The comic could have been more fleshed out, but it seems as if they only went for the bare necessities. It was still decent, but it has wasted potential.

Yeah, I always use those paragon and renegade glitches whenever I play Mass Effect 1, they help me reach max charm and Intimidate faster.

Finished Kasumi's loyalty mission and a couple of N7 side missions.

One of the Eclipse guards at Hock's party looks like Conrad Verner. lol

Wait what is this experience glitch?

Yeah, I'm wondering about that too.

I don't think it's an experience glitch, but I understand the conversation with Lorek Qui'in on Noveria is bugged, even after patching, and can max out your paragon/renegade scores. I dunno the mechanics of it, but I believe that's what others are talking about.

Oh. Oops. I just read the last part, where Daemul mention paragon and renegade, and immediately thought of Lorik Qui'in. My bad.

I dunno anything about an experience bug. Sorry. Anymore if I want xp I don't mess around, I just use the console command givexp. I've played ME1 enough times, heh.

Yeah, that does sound much easier haha.

I'm not one for using these glitches though, I'm fiercely anti-cheating :P
