Today, I stopped a batarian from slamming an asteroid into Terra Nova. Great mission, although that final building is somewhat difficult to navigate. To save the hostages, I let Balak go. I have a feeling we'll meet again. Too bad he didn't show up in ME2.

Then it was off to Feros. Always liked Feros the best, after Virmire. Hung up on the council again after the turian councilor accused me of favoritism. Why is it that when the real Shiala is set free after the Thorian is killed, she has blue skin?

While at the exogeni building on Feros, I picked up some info on odd happenings in the Maroon Sea, so I'm off to check those out before going to Virmire. One thing I like about ME1, I don't have to report back to the Citadel every time I complete a quest. I've played almost the entire game out in space. It's great.

Because Shiala is an Asari and they have blue skin. The green "Shiala's" you fight are clones made by the Thorian. The real Shiala is blue, although she will turn green by the time you meet her again in ME2. Ask her about it when you  meet her on Illium.

Although some seem closer to purple, and some are a very light blue.

Got the reaper IFF. Was very tempted to sell Legion to Cerebrus even though my Shep is more of a paragon, but eventually didn't. Will destroy the heretics though I think.

Just finished Feros. Off to Noveria to destroy more machines

In an ironic turn of events I got the renegade achievement in ME1 when I convinced Saren to save himself by committing suicide.

 

Now to kill the Council and then Sovereign!

Finished off Eden Prime on my Vanguard, told Ashley to report back to the ship because we'd bang later before I passed out, and decided I was going to try a true neutral approach on my Vanguard.

I looked it up on the wiki. I feel dumb now.   It's been a while since I played ME2, and I'd forgotten much of that conversation on Ilium.

 

Today, Tali got carsick on Chasca. Ever the gentleman, Wrex described in vivid detail how much worse it was on Eletania, and that Tali should have been there. I asked Wrex if he had something to say about my driving. Wrex said he was having a fantastic time. Tali called him a bosh'tet and got sick again. It wasn't pretty.

 

Off to Virmire. Have this nagging feeling about Kaidan. He's had this fatalistic look in his eyes ever since I dumped him for Liara. Hope he doesn't try something heroic to impress me.

Today, I watched powerlessy the crisis in the Crimea unfold, so I concentrated on resolving one crisis I could:

Anti-social Shep had a busy day. She saved all but one colonist on Feros; let Shiala stay to help them rebuild; tracked down more creepers in the Maroon Sea; destroyed a Cerberus base full of husks; disabled a rogue VI on Luna; upgraded her Sentinel class to Bastion; and stopped an asteroid from hitting Terra Nova. She still needs to find the guy in charge of that little operation and make him pay. Anti-social Shep may not be all that keen on people in general, but she refuses to tolerate slavers.

Defeated Sovereign today. AdeptShep with 12 ranks in lift killed Saren-bot with a pistol while he floated around the room. I don't think he so much as damaged my shields. It was hilarious.

 

Said farewell to Kaidan. Saved the council. Put Anderson on the council. Ready to be reborn into ME2.

- Blew up the heretics in Legions LM

- Kicked some Collector ass after passing through the Omega 4 relay. Tali was getting a little too uneasy in the vents, Garrus was his usual self though as the team leader.

-Destroyed the human reaper &  the collector base (like always), I don't think i'll ever hand it over to Illusive Man.

- Like in my previous playthroughs only talked to Liara once finishing the SM even though I went for SB before SM. Invited her to SR2 & continued her romance.

 

Now its time for Arrival & couple of Citadel side quests.

Finished Virmire. Went to Therum. Now I will see if I can still recruit Wrex, if not, I will go back to an earlier save. We do Ilos and kill Saren shortly.

Just finished ME1. Before going to Ilos, I recruited Wrex and when talking with him he never mentions Virmire at all. Now to start ME2.

I didn't even look for it.  After I talked with him on the Normandy, I headed for Ilos.

 

Just finished freedon's Progress. I believe in this playthrough I will recruit everyone and do their loyalty missions.

Wrex is actually pretty easy to talk down, especially if you find the armor, which isn't that tough.  You even get a chance to save right before you talk to him, so you can load if things don't go well.

You talking about Virmire?

 

I recruited him after I did Virmire. He doesn't mention anything about Virmire when I talk with him before going to Ilos. The reason why I did this is to see how different his dialogue is in ME2/ME3 especially if you sabotage the genophage in ME3.

Not a completionist run, eh? Often I just run into it even without talking to him. Last time I got it I tried to give it to him while he was in Chora's Den, but all he could go on about was joining my crew. (Is that better or worse than carrying on about fish on the Presidium? )

All I did was the main quest. No side missions at all.

Died in a collector attack. Woke up two years later in a medbay to the sound of explosions and gunfire, and some woman telling me what to do and where to go. Learned about thermal clips, shot some 'mechs. Checked out Freedom's Progress, caught up with Tali, shot some more 'mechs. Gotta get me one of those dogs.

 

Visited the Normandy crash site. Found some dog-tags, so now the crew can rest easy. Think Jacob lied to me. He said most of the crew survived, but if Normandy had a skeleton crew, and I found 20 dogtags on Alchera, exactly how many is "most of the crew"? I miss my ship.

 

Off to Omega. There's a salarian scientist there who may know a way to keep seeker swarms off me. Going from the savior of the citadel to reborn terrorist is a little tough, no matter how new-and-improved everything is, including me. All in all, I think I handled it pretty well.
